Great review ! Can you please tell me what are the better for you speaking of the lenses ? Because I’m considering now which one to buy…. Ride mostly the day in versatile conditions , mostly sunny sun/cloud as well … sometimes in the Forrest as well

As a first step to whole cleaning process I would try to use some brush to remove a dirt and sand from it to not use whole bottle to clean the chain. After that I would start to clean a chain with this tool because this liquid is mainly for remove old grease etc. Anyway its a useful video. High five 😀

I just received a Micronew 3x7 STI shifter set, and so far I'm disappointed. The right 7x shifter only double shifts on the third long press. And the left 3x shifter has four positions; 3 clicks on the long lever press, and 2 clicks (a small click and a BIG click) on the short lever press. Putting these on a bike seems like a pure waste of time. Hoping I can get a refund.

Hlo sir, i m from india, i ordered ‘prizm field’ which is totally in red shade from USA, but unfortunately i received ‘prizm road’ because it has yellowish shade on the edges. How can i get help for that 😢. I ordered customized one.. I am very disappointed as i paid full money in advance.

There’s not much of a difference between the 2 lenses.. I have both field and road and the fields actually let less light in 15% compared to the road (20%), both have the same rose base for great contrast.. the fields maybe have a deeper red on the outside than the road.. so you should be all good with the fields, especially in sunnier conditions

What video overlays do you use now? is there any free alternative? I have the Insta 360, Garmin 520 computer & I edit on my Macbook, what do u advice I use to get video overlays without paying? I've tried the Virb edit but, after importing my GPX file, I get a white blank screen.

You might be able to tweak the front derailleur to avoid the interference when you’re cross chaining. (Or just avoid cross-chaining:)). I’m thinking of doing this conversion with my specialized Sirrus. Wondering how the fit will change, though.

Awesome video! I've watched it multiple times because I plan to do a similar conversion to my Giant Escape 3 disc. Since the gear set up is 3x7, were the brifters easy to set up and change gears?

I had to make some fine tune adjustments, nothing major. It shifts, but have to work hard to keep things smooth (keep chain in a straight alignment, avoid cross chaining).

I have a question about the original bars. I’m considering an FX 3 and I’m wondering if you’re able to raise the bar height on stock bars? I test rode one and liked it but think if the bars were a few inches higher id be better off. Thanks.

Thanks for the review @repikfitnesslifestyle7605 Can I ask whether you tried listening to spoken podcasts while riding on the road? Sometimes music is fine but for longer rides I would like to listen to podcasts, but curious whether you'd be able to follow a conversation while riding on roads that may have some background noise from cars passing you, in either direction.

Great question! I would say, depends on the ride. If you’re doing a lot of downhill and it’s windy, then it wouldn’t work. The music gets inaudible when I’m going downhill or lots of wind.

Great video, thanks! I pulled out mu Air 1 yesterday and while it followed ok there were some course/framing issues. I must admit I'd forgotten about all the settings, your video makes them very clear. Will try again next week. I can't remember if Litchi can do Follow with just the phone connected to the Air 1, that would make it a much more convenient setup.

This bike was really easy to assemble kzbin.infoUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

I’m enjoying the bike so far kzbin.infoUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.

You said that you no longer use the franken bike even on the trainer. I'm wondering why? I have a FX2 which is my dedicated trainer bike and a Domane SL5 as my dedicated outdoor bike, so am considering doing the same conversion, just for consistency (drop bars and lever shifting), for when I have to ride indoors. This would save wear and tear on the SL5 as it is a long winter where I live with lots of road salt right into spring.
@repikfitnesslifestyle7605
@repikfitnesslifestyle7605 Жыл бұрын
So I was using the FX1 Frankenbike on a dedicated wheel-on trainer. That was my big plan… I eventually replaced my wheel-on trainer with a direct-drive trainer. The direct-drive trainer made it easy to swap the Domane between indoor and outdoor. Just have to remove the rear wheel and pop it on the trainer, for the most part. I don’t have to worry about pumping up my tire, cranking the wheel on, calibrating, etc. The direct-drive is much more “hop op and go”. So, the FX1 became kind of pointless for me. Especially since I’ve only been on like 3 indoor rides this year, I began questioning if I truly needed a dedicated indoor setup or if I could live with just the Domane and use the direct drive a few times a year. Since I’m trying to reduce my clutter, I ended up selling the Frankenbike, hopefully it’s getting more use than I would have given it this year.
