Nice job. I'm not allowed to trap road ditches. Have to get permission from every land owner.

My T3s have been cleaned out 2 nights in a row with no animal caught🤨. Never had this issue with dukes DP. I have it set as hair as i can. Dogfood and marshmellows gone🤷♂️

What kind of wax do you use?
@IronTrailTraplineSupplyАй бұрын
I use either white or black trap wax, both work just fine. You can find it at IronTrail Trapline Supply.

What do you do with the coon meat? I know you sell the fir, but is the whole coon purchased by the fir trader, or do you skin the coon and keep the meat? If the fir trader just tosses the coon meat, you should work out with the fir trader, to keep the meat, and just sell the pelts, because you could make money selling the coon meat as well, or keep the meat to eat for yourself.

If I can find some rats this year I'll try to post setting runs and stuff! Some of the state laws don't make much sense.

How do you set on side of roads is this legal
@IronTrailTraplineSupply3 ай бұрын
It depends on your state law. In MN trapping right of ways is legal.

Im just going to set some traps immediately outside of the holes some MF’ing groundhogs have created going under my house, on my farm while I went to help my son & family with a newborn. Is it imperative that I dye and wax and everything? (My Havahart hasn’t worked, so other than full metal jacket, I’m using the Dukes.) I’m at my wits end. I miss my Great Dane and can’t get another dog... 😢 I have a large farm, so dogs or cats WON’T get in the traps.) Thanks for your help. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
If you are running hags brackets, what trap do you prefer to run? For muskrat sets

I am brand new to this, so forgive the beginner question. Are those wolf fangs hard to remove out of the ground?
@IronTrailTraplineSupply7 ай бұрын
It really depends on how hard the ground is. If it's wet/muddy ground you can pull them out by hand. If you're in hard ground or clay they are very hard to get out. You'll want to buy or rig up a stake puller for sure.

I heard something from another video I don't remember where but they mentioned something about some preventative shot. Have you ever heard about something like that? Thanks
