I would try putting the muddy traps on a piece of chain and pulling it to clean them off. One or two at a time as you go to the next set. It's a good video, I was amazed at how many doubles you had.

Love to trap the water ways. Always pick up fox running the creek beds in my high trail sets. Dog proofs are great for getting a lot of sets made. I like your style of trapping. Wish I could dedicate the time you have. I'd could make sets all day.

Do you ever let the little itty ones go? I love trapping. I love catching beaver and raccoon and muskrat. Idk why, but the little ones have such sweet faces lol. Plus, I like knowing there's seed left for next year. That's just me though, I guess 🙂. Second question: do you leave your fur in that condition? I'm assuming no, but I heard you mention that you left the boat at the fur buyer, so I just wasn't sure if you do your own fur handling or not.

i use a 2 gallon bucket to wash my traps out to keep from pulling traps just a thought
