Yesterday i slipped off and broke my two upper front teeth into half. I went to dentist today and he did a temporary RCT and next appointment is 3 days later for permanent RCT and capping. I came back from hospital and slept but after i woke up my temporary filling start to fell off a little. I contacted dentist assistant and he said that it's alright,no need to worry. Is it really alright?Is it a matter of concern? I'm not able to trust anyone because it's front teeth. Please help doc!! PLEASE REPLY.

Yeah I just got a filling like last week on Tuesday and it already fell out. Idk if it’s from bacteria that was still there when they filled it or what bc yeah. This dentist I’ve been going to btw isn’t the first time this has happened to me. Idk if it’s the dentist or me but it kinda seems like the dentists fault when my fresh filling I literally got the week prior is already fallen out.

Mine just fell out, and because the dentist is closed on weekends, I have to wait till Monday morning to book an appointment. Hopefully, everything ends up going well

Since i got the filling flossing has been a challenge, it always felt like it caught onto the floss to the point where i had to take the floss out super gently and thats been up for a few weeks, until tonighy, i flossed and i felt cracking, my tooth has also been sensitive all day long

Sadly I'm going through it!! Paying for the mistake of ignoring my broken tooth cavity which i didn't even have an idea about, even ignoring the abscess because it was too tiny n harmless... iv wish i would have earlier to the dentist so that tooth nerves wouldn't be infected with the bacteria.. now I'm having to do root canal n i don't want it 😭😭

I see your post is a year old but I'll share anyway - It's best not to delay. I was told to put a crown on my tooth that had undergone root canal, but I kept putting it off. A year or so later it cracked while I was eating some almonds. Again, I did nothing about it and eventually wound up with gum abscess. The dentist who performed the root canal recommended I go to an oral surgeon to have it pulled, but I wanted a 2nd opinion. I went to Dental Wellness and Dr. Sweeny-Fonesca recommended the same thing. I went to the oral surgeon and he pulled the cracked tooth very quickly, but spent quite some time scraping the infection out of the area...it had spread to the jawbone. Hope this helps.

Well... What if it's during the apocalypse, you called every dentist in town and they said that there are mandates in place that say they can't fix my tooth, until they kill the Corona virus...? Can I practice self dentistry then? Because, I need a filling fixed... And it doesn't hurt now, but I am afraid that it's gonna get infected or something and you did NOT help... 😳
