Treatment For a Cracked Tooth

What can be done for tooth which underwent root canal and has crack,it’s not hurting but can see and feel the crack.its been 2 months root canal has done.crown not done.am 38 years old

I see your post is a year old but I'll share anyway - It's best not to delay. I was told to put a crown on my tooth that had undergone root canal, but I kept putting it off. A year or so later it cracked while I was eating some almonds. Again, I did nothing about it and eventually wound up with gum abscess. The dentist who performed the root canal recommended I go to an oral surgeon to have it pulled, but I wanted a 2nd opinion. I went to Dental Wellness and Dr. Sweeny-Fonesca recommended the same thing. I went to the oral surgeon and he pulled the cracked tooth very quickly, but spent quite some time scraping the infection out of the area...it had spread to the jawbone. Hope this helps.
