Nice review, I should have pulled the trigger as they are all sold out for now....or do I wait for my favourite Frankie Royal to release and buy a stack of them 😂😂 Standard Lowenbrau along with Jupiler are my go to lagerson the PD, like you say the Oktoberfest versions are just that bit better. @@beerfantv Yesterday, one of the large supermarket chains here in Krakow (it is called Kaufland, and it is apparently a German owned company) had a big sale for the holiday weekend (there was a Polish National holiday on Thursday, commemorating an important WWI battle) and you could get 6 free 1/2 liter bottles of beer with the purchase of 6 bottles of equal or lesser value. So, I ended up getting 6 bottles of Paulaner Weissbier Dunkel (Munich) and 6 bottles of Zipfer Marzen from Austria, for less than 30 zloty, which is 5.8 pounds. So a total of 6 liters of imported German and Austrian bier, (over here. it is easy to tell if beers are actual, true imports or really just contract brewed "Fake Imports" that are in fact brewed here in Poland under licence, as all imported alcohol needs to have a special label or a sticker printed in Polish on the container, which is a great thing for informed, discerning consumers) for under 6 GBP or 8 U$D dollars. A pretty nice price, if you ask me... Have a good weekend, "Na Zdrowie!" from here in beautiful, historic and incredibly affordable Krakow...

The video was done awhile ago, I’d say no older than 7 days. I know the keg was Stella. The old Stella, not the new UK brewed one. Also, I used a half pint glass, the nucleation is not as good as the pint sized Stella chalice. 👍🍻

Hi mate. Good question. The pro is great if you drink beer that needs to be served warmer than 3c. 70% of the beer on PD is lager or similar & 3c is perfect & doesn’t need a temperature change. The app is good but not essential. You can adjust the temperature using the app, setup a cooler schedule (use less electricity when not in use), all good but as mentioned not essential. Also, depends where you plan to keep,the machine. The pro keeps temperature better in warmer places. My normal machine would struggle to keep temperature above 30c. I keep mine in a summer house & they get really hot in the summer. Lastly, the pro has a 2 year warranty but no spares & repairs after this date (that I am aware of). You need to replace the machine with a new one at full price. I hope the above helps.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Aldi version is brewed by Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu for Aldi Uk & Ireland. There isn’t many places you can brew the quantity required & quality required on a large scale for a company like Aldi. The artwork is also similar, & If not brewed by Franziskaner, how have they not been taken to court over copyright? Not much information on the bottle, apart from saying brewed inline with German purity law for Aldi Uk. Anyway, thanks again for watching & commenting,🍻

Hi mate, thanks for your message. sorry for the delayed response. If you only drink lagers and beers that are drunk at chill, I'd stick with the original. If you drinking IPAs and ales that need to be warmer then go with the PRO. The original has better aftercare. You can get parts and repairs outside the 2yr warranty, whereas the PRO has no repair or parts after 2 years warranty.
