It's nice to see. Edison players have a very fixed mentality in 2024. I've heard so many of them say, there are only three great decks. And then Dream Frog, a new deck, wins two events, and they are still playing the same Blackwing list. Keep making it new and interesting!

How about trying to fit a Call of the Haunted in here? Can be a nice way to get an ocean effect off to return AZ to extra deck. Can chain to S/T removal by targetting AZ or Stratos to go plus too.

my fav tech card is iris the earth mother. you can get multiple activations from scrap iron scarecrow, ordeal of a traveler, fairy box and nightmare wheel. also 2 synergies with black garden: 2400 atk is multiples of 800 and it starts a chain so you need 2 more cards to chain to it. only 1 if the monster has an on summon effect. you can protect it with necro gardna as a quick effect. you can cheat it out with valhalha or tribute instant fusion or sac an opponent's monster with soul exchange. you can protect it with my body as a shield which would be at least chain 2

I was one of the people that helped innovate mono water heros. I still have the same exact deck and sleeves from 15 years ago. Im a huge fan. I recently started edison again. When i said i used sparkman people were shocked lmao I love playing fusion hero. I have a cool tactic i use for the side. Workin on this deck this week.

A niche card that always comes to mind for me is Power Filter but I'm not sure how useful it is for the current meta. Another card, that unfortunately misses Edison by a set, is Scrap Searcher combo'd with Give And Take; its on summon effect destroys all non-Scrap monsters on its controller's field and it bypasses any "Cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects" protection! That being said, Give and Take is in Edison and I'm sure there is some way to mess with the opponent using it be that a negative effect on-field or taking the monster back with Owner's Seal or Synchro Control (Armory Arm is a fun target, but you could also just take a tuner and do a high level synchro summon)

Warning for people that r gonna try greed grado, dont side it in against debri/dandylion decks. If they make black rose its going to destroy itself so u wont be able to proc greed grado. If they make stardust dragon, it can negate your things that destroy(ryko/trap cards)

First off, nice video! I love seeing peoples thought process and theory in formats I enjoyed a lot. I used to play competitive in the early 2010's and wanted to offer a few thoughts on the cards you've mentioned. Hand Destruction is rough because it's a -1 like you mentioned, but you're also giving your opponent a chance to draw 2 cards deeper in their deck and/or set up their grave. It's also dead if you draw it late game with less than 2 cards in hand. Needle Ceiling can be incredibly spicy against plant, but it also suffers from being pretty dead if drawn late as the boards tend to be smaller. I experimented SO much with Prohibition over many formats and have had an intense love hate relationship with it. I haven't tested with it in Edison personally, but I feel it's a bit less useful during Edison as there aren't key cards you can call to lock your opponent out of their game. Burden can be a scary card, but if I'm playing stun (Which I imagine this would go in) its tough to find room because I would almost rather run Bottomless or Compulsory to deal with the immediate threat coming at me. End of Anubis is the GOAT in monarch this was a super popular side deck option for a long time. This is some secret spice. You mention Tuner's Scheme for the Vayu matchup, but with Icarus at 3 I feel it's a bit rough because they can respond to it so easy. Cursed seal is a great choice if you struggle against HERO's like you said. Its uses are limited but incredibly impactful. Seal of Wickedness is kinda meh imo because its only decent targets are face-up spells/traps. Fiendish Chain is a better card against your DaD example because it negates the effect of the monster permanently and stops attacks. Greed Grado is indeed a +1 but I feel its conditions are too situational and you'll be holding it and waiting most of the time. Destroying a synchro is typically already a favorable position for you, and it really is only serving to stack an already winning situation further in your favor. Granted I've never seen this card so maybe its worked out great for you in testing. Hope your Edison journey is a fun one!

A card i think is really crazy and people should try to break is needlebug nest. It's eff is to mill the top 5 cards of your deck. This eff can be broken in a deck that uses a lot of graveyard. Imagine a 40 card deck, after you draw 6, you have 34. If you mill 5 cards, you mill 1/7 of your deck, that means that if you have 10 good cards to go to gy, you have 46,54% to Mill at least 2 of then, that would make you +1 and 84,72% to mill 1 of that 10 cards, that would break even, would be basically a foolish. It's a card that can really be broken if you build a deck around him, in worst case is a foolish, in best case can be a +4

Synchro Control is also interesting. you can take control of a synchro monster if you have no synchros in play till the end of YOUR next turn, so you can steal it in their turn for his and your entire turns😅

I think the normal summon count is definitely too high. Cutting that by 2 or even 3 will be more optimal for sure, since monster hands are kinda how you lose with a deck of this archetype. Personally I prefer Cyber Dragon over Instant Fusion, since he's just better on its own / as a top deck, but I also play Chaos Sorc... and as you mentioned, Instant works well with Diva for more flexible levels - I'm just not sure how good the diva package really is here. Giant Rat I like and I've seen it used - and I think having access to the immediate lv 6 with Cat into Panther makes Cat plays even stronger and in turn Rat more valuable. I think 3 Airbellum is correct, but I personally prefer 2 Avarice... same as you though - not sure. Sometimes it's for sure necessary to kinda increase the power ceiling at the cost of some consistency with decks like cat. Have you considered D.D. Crazy Beast? I've seen some people use it before as Panther alternative, but never tried it myself (since I just don't run any lv3).

Finally! this is the kind of yugioh edison format youtube channel that I'm looking for! showing the deck lists in a quiet room with a close up view of the mat and not in a loud store showing the decklists of other people. thank you! Lol

Personally I would swap wood for wildheart as you suggested, simply because it gives access to wildedge, that guy was my favorite fusion out of the bunch This looks very consistent and much better than what I tried to pull a few years ago, for example I completely disregarded fusion sage and fusion recovery and tried making the deck too much focused on miracle fusion, which made me use all my resources and otk, or lose to a single Caius 😅

You should consider cutting one salvo for one copy of Gale, it's an additional tuner if you're concerned with the count of tuners, and it a generically better card on it's own compared to Salvo. It's also searchable with tomato/ sangan etc
