People had to follow this, on the show after? They might of well of followed elvis presley at his peak.

In rthe '60s, when most people were revering albums like Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, I was buying Love Forever Changes, Da Capo, IF, Egg.

I came here from watching The Damned's version and yes they did a very respectful version which I have always liked, but hearing it from the horse's mouth so to speak, different class.

There's a vid of this at a Brit outdoor concert, and the (woman) fiddler is obviously enjoying the screen time.

It's worth mentioning this masterpiece was written by the criminally underrated Bryan Mclean.

Da Capo and Forever Changes were two of the first albums I bought. The sound Love produced was quite different to other '60s bands. I was upset Arthur died only a couple of years after the 2003 Glastonbury concert. Those attending must have been in awe of him/them.

I got into Love in my 20s and I was blown away with someone who thought just like me. I've never had that experience before or since. Everyone is trying to be cool or weird. Arthur Lee was the man.

Great song- as good as anything on "Da Capo", but was far better than everything on the weak directionless album it was inserted on by Lee, in an attempt, unsuccessfully, to save that mostly forgettable LP and give it a Single to release to Radio Stations.... ....

I saw these guys live in Birmingham just after he was released from jail. He said that his fans in Britain kept him going so the first thing he wanted to do when he got out was tour over here. They basically played the Alone Again Or album all the way through, plus other tracks. They were BRILLIANT!!! Such a shame when he died not long after. I was looking forward to seeing him play again

It took such along time for Arthur & his band to be the recognisable groundbreakers they were,;giving of a generous heart to groups. which Arthur thought musically worthy, ie, the Doors (he wasn’t wrong there, Jimi Hendrix). As his lyrics go in this song, I do weep for him, what a Captain of Music! God bless you, Arthur, keep them singing in heaven - see you one way. LOVE & JaneR

So good to see Arthur Lee performing this song perfectly on stage in 2003. I saw him perform with his Love band in 1974 at Southampton University, England. The landmark Forever Changes album still sounds so good.
