I've been a fan of Neko Case since I heard "People Got a Lotta Nerve," and I've heard many of her interviews. She has always come off as really intelligent and really funny. This interview was particulary interesting. I've read about her really difficult uprbringing and her running away from home at an early age. But this was the first time I heard her mention punk and why she abandoned it, and the riot girl movement (I have all the Sleater Kinney CDs). This interview was a while ago, but I think she achieved at least one of her goals - last October (2013) her 2 shows in DC sold out in no time.
