That pack is great. They were comfortable load monsters with awesome ventilation. I hiked all over Grand Canyon with one, found used at a flea market if Flagstaff, it hauled a lot of water.

That scenery is absolutely stunning. They have a saying here in our national parks about camping or whatever, and it's "leave only footprints." You always crack me up and make me laugh. Is that a Merrillite? You said Marriot but it looks just like the Blacks Merrillite. I had a Merrillite which I bought new in about 1980, it was designed by a bloke called John Merrill who designed the tent and then used it on his walk around the entire coastline of the UK. It was a game changer at the time as it only weighed 4kg which was super light by the standards of the day. However, those aren't the correct poles for a Merrilite, the tent had a ridge pole and an A Frame pole at the front which made getting in and out much easier. The mice ate holes in my Merrillite a few years ago so I threw it away BUT I KEPT THE POLES. If your tent is a Merrillite and you would like the correct poles for it contact me and I'll post them to you, no charge, it would make me happy to think that they were in use again.

Hi Mark Sorry you fell on your knee I did that once years ago I fell 6 ft off a bunk bed onto both my knees so I can Imagine how that hurt and it does really hurt love the dog and your channel

Glad you had a better Christmas than me! My mum had an operation just before Christmas where she had 50% chance of not making it to the new year (fortunately she did and was discharged a week ago). I, along with my sister and her wife, had Covid over the 2 week period, so couldn't even visit her. We've all made it through so, could have been worse

Great vid as always mate that was a nifty steel and flint where would I get one of those from and nowt wrong with that tea pal I get the fresh/chilled curries (not frozen) from aldi warm it up then add uncle bens microwave rice add a bit of water to get it nice and saucy and job as they say is a good un one pot no messing and a real rib sticker for them cold winter nights atb buddy 😀👍

being from Florida I hate camping in cold weather but when it gets down into the 30s down here in Florida with 90 % humidity the cold goes to the bones!

Spent Christmas and New Year on my own It’s my third year on my own but I didn’t mind It was my birthday on Monday and I spent that alone with no presents But I can buy my own presents later in the year I would have tried it out at home just to see what it was like You don’t want getting caught short in bad weather with a dodgy tent

Great 2 see u + Dingo on a dingo adventure!! I went 2 Lee valley and Spent Christmas in a wooden Cabin with Heating and electric and a fridge and a microwave but I had no Christmas dinner as my green beans had gone off 😔 so this year spending Christmas with my dad and as I went 2 a new year's party which I fought was a bit boring I fought wot else can I do so I'll go back 2 lee valley and stay on d 30th 31st and new year's Day go 2 the local pub 4 a late lunch already booked and have a juicy steak 🥩!!

Unlike your friend Andy he likes to push the boat out. Might try the meal for my hubby, quick and easy thanks
