Good one Mark. I came to your channel by watching you with your buddy Andy. I live in the US on the Texas Gulf Coast. I spent my professional life working in the offshore oil & gas business with many, many coworker and friends from the UK. I have warmed up to you because you are the only “Brit” that I am aware of that drinks coffee! My drink of choice! Cheers mate! 😂😂☕️☕️👍

Mark, you really stepped up your game with production on this video! Not only was this video much longer than your usual, the drone shots and the editing were top-notch. I also liked how you went into detail about your new tent and how you showed a clip of one of the other products from a previous camp with Andy. As for the light, I’ve had mine for a couple months and I love it. Of course Alan wouldn’t…😂. Well done Mark

I agree with Alan: camping aims to be the opposite of the 'working week.' I like the new Spam very well! I'd try a bit of mustard on my rolls. The telescoping swiveling LED light is a 'champion.' It makes a reasonable tabletop lantern and a useful task light.

Hey!!!! Ooooooh I like a lot too! It’s like a new and improved Lanshan 2! Nice little touches with the little pockets to put your walking pole in so they don’t slip and the little poles to lift the head and foot ends. Personally single skin tents make me nervous but otherwise it looks great! You’re lucky to have some sunshine! Feels like weeks since we’ve had that in Cornwall lol! Fatal error to run out of beer, what were you thinking?!?! 🤣😂 Looked like a fab camp, great little vid! 🥰
@mdmoutdooradventures9 ай бұрын
Yeah I would have this over a lanshan 👍 and another big bonus is unlike a lanshan it’s water proof out the factory so you don’t need to seam seal this tent 👍. It ain’t been to great here lol a day of sun then a week of rain 😂

Only 1500hh and single skinned with huge gaps between tent and floor... this is going to be a cold tent when the wind picks up and I reckon rain will easily blow under it. The low weight is great but too many other compromises for me to consider it.

I would say that is a 2 season tent only. 1500mm head isnt a lot, given the placement of the vent holes which are very low (handy in summer) the high gap under the vestibule and the large amount of mesh makes it a good midsummer trek tent. It looks pretty good, looks more sturdy than the lanshan, thats for sure. You didnt mention length, how tall are you?, is the mesh nosseum? what make are the zips ? is the seams sealed?....??

It's nice to see you excited, but your new favourite even before you've slept in it once? Could come back to bite you that. :) Also, how much does your trekking poles weigh? For those of us who don't normally bring hiking poles I guess you could use two lengths of wood from the forest floor but if your walking where there are no trees you'd have to include trekking poles in the total weight of the tent in my opinion.
