The Newer James Bonds are Trash 🗑️. The older ones are just so much better. I refuse to watch the newer ones. Any James Bond with an Aston Martin DB5 or before is gold.

My pop used to randomly leave a vcr recording overnight to catch random movies in the late 90’s on Showtime. This was one of the movies he caught. It was actually pretty damn good. The scene the old lady had my younger brother, myself and my parents dying. Apparently there was a sequel. But it looked like trash.

Draws heavily on "Neuromancer" and its sequel "Count Zero" for most of its sci-fi elements and on the Van Damme school of acting. Also Thomas Jane's first movie role. Just wacky enough to be fun.

I feel like I've seen almost every 80's/90's sci-fi/horror/action flick in existence. There are sooooo many dope movies out there that people today haven't heard of. They got really creative and really weird back in the day!

I believe I’ve seen it. Not sure though. A sci-fi flick from that time had a woman in it that was saved into a handheld device with lcd screen in the final moments. Was it this movie?

Sorry but you cant count McCoy and McGann as longest Doctors. Just because no one officially dismissed them does not mean they were acting as the doctor. They weren't appearing in any episodes or movies therefore they were not the doctor. In the same way physicians and lawyers are only counted by the time actively practicing law or medicine an actor does not count for a character they have not portrayed in years.

Thanks, I’ll have to check it out. I’ve meant to rewatch Cyborg for over 30 years and now is the best time to explore old movies since Hollywood’s in the toilet.

Great Job summarizing this film! You should really check out the amazing 1993 film "Knights" starring Kris Kristofferson and Kathy Long! It is a fun film!

It honestly looks like a cyberpunk movie directed by late 80s John Woo at points. Definitely underrated.

I saw it on VHS back in the day. There are a lot of movies even earlier on VHS that i think were overlooked, lost to time, and taperot.

I remember enjoying this; even one of the exchanges, simple as it might be, stuck with me: "You're a cyborg, why aren't _you_ siding with them?" "They're wrong" "..that's it?" "isn't that enough?"

The DVD I watched in the mid 00s must have been in awful quality (and maybe edited?) because this looks so much better than my memories of it, time to find it in HD.

Nemsis was totally a product of the 90's, just look at the comicbooks at the time. Nemesis feels like something Rob Liefeld and Todd McFarlane cooked up togther.

Actually I have seen it. Several times in fact. See, I’m old, and we had these things even before Blockbusters. They were “mom and pop” VHS rental stores that were filled to the brim with terrible shit like all of the things you mentioned, including the AMAZING Captain America film where the Red Skull was a Russian wasn’t he? Whatever he was he wasn’t German. I remember THAT much. 😂
