Don't start an engine with oil older than 1 year. Engine oil will degrade just sitting on the shelf in the container. Several years oil engine oil is almost certainly completely dead & will damage your engine; it´s like skipping several oil changes. Cold engine start always cause wear on the engine, with old dead oil it's really bad wear on the engine.

Great bike and love that color! You did an outstanding job on restoring the bike. I was wondering why you didn’t swap out the rear shock when you had the rear wheel off and easy access to it.
@rbmcstore249718 күн бұрын
It's all about customers budget, when I spike to him I recommended replacing the shock swingarm (very corroded) and linkage bearings however budget wouldn't allow that. He wanted to use it and get used to it, it's actually due back in at some point soon to do these jobs 👍

Hello, I own a Mutt Mushman 250, and unfortunately, my speedometer has stopped working. Since there’s no service available in my city, I bought a universal replacement. However, I couldn’t find any information about the wiring or installation process. If you could provide any guidance or advice, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you in advance!
@rbmcstore2497Ай бұрын
Hi if you bought a universal one then it would all need wiring up which would be a tricky job, you would need to find out what each individual wire does. If you want the original speedometer we may be able to get them for you if you email us direct. Thanks.

Yes standard exhaust system, if I remember rightly I think they changed in later models so you can access the oil filter without removing it. I suppose the only good thing in this case is the exhaust system will never seize in place as its removed every service, it came apart quite easily and assembled easily. It just means more time and a set of exhaust gaskets every service.

I cannot help but think of the many maintenance advantages of air cooled engines, space is tighter for certain but not having to deal with a cooling system and the relief, every oil change of not finding coolant in the crankcase! I do all my own wrenching so small things like V-twin compared to I-4 are foremost when choosing a new to me machine. You're a great specialist and mechanically savvy as you point out the necessity of deadlines and having to work smart as well as working hard. No shortcuts, but in my area a good specialist is impossible to hire. It's fair to say even absolute novices that gun-deck every step as well as botch a customers repair are in demand. It's fair to say a man with a reputation and, to be candid, fortitude, to post their work is indeed worth a premium.

Until then we have to prioritise our income 👍 Thanks for watching.
