I studied this position when I was 12 from the maizelis book. Unfortunately, descriptive notation and Russian translation to Spanish made it difficult…but I loved it That was 1974!

I was reading a book about fundamental chess endings and didn't understand why the book let some square correspond to an other, but this video made it more clear to me. I found this puzzle to be pretty hard: White to move and win: W: Ka1, pd5, pe4 and pg3 B: Kg8, pd6, pd7 and pg4 Would you like to give this puzzle a try?

I think the best book written about this subject is 'The final countdown' by Herman Claudius van Riemsdijk and Willem Diederik Hajenius. There also exist a Chessbase CD from this book. I wish someone could make some video tutorials explaining the methods described in this book.
