This is great! I am on the fence about getting this kit. Only thing holding me back would be lack of sound. Yours sounds great! Nice work
@damiondjdanejackson4520Ай бұрын
I agree with you about the sound. The car has deeper sound but definitely not the most aggressive. I believe that due to that manifold type/design
@bobfoster8281Ай бұрын
@@damiondjdanejackson4520yeah it definitely sounds deeper in the video. I’m currently running stock twins in TTC mode through a 3” downpipe/4” Tomei exhaust. I’m hoping it sounds better than my car in TTC.

Made a bit of a rookie mistake there bro. You shouldn't have used the new bearings with old races.😢
@brendangill99793 ай бұрын
Just a heads up, the seats you have are the Recaro SR-3, not the SR-2. You can tell because the SR-3 has a more rounded off bolster design in comparison to the SR-2 which is more pointed. While the SR-2 were a factory option on the JZA80 I don't believe the SR-3 were. A lot of people get the SR-2, SR-3, and Speed series (which have a slightly taller, more squared head rest) mixed up. A lot of sellers can't tell them apart either and end up mislabeling them in their listings. Still cool seats regardless though!

It is a great addition to the car. Very quiet and devoid of all the clunks and grinds other LSDs usually produce. Under full Load the car launches straight as an arrow. Fully recommend it for daily/street usage.

Questions my friend how you control the fuel pressure that going to the injectors if you connected the fuel pressure regulator after the injectors you can adjust the pressure if connected between the pump and injectors i dont sure about this i just wondering thank you
@damiondjdanejackson452010 ай бұрын
Hey! This is a great question. The FPR is connected after the fuel rail so that all fuel going to the injectors and rail is constant. Once the PFR pressurizes the system after it leaves the rail, it pushed back into the tank which in turn adds the pressure to the new fuel gong to the rail/injectors. Hope this makes sense and answers your question.

Hello Damion, Thank you for your video. One note; Don't worry too much about the preload. There is a lot of nonsense being told on the internet about spring preloading. The preload is only to ensure that the spring does not come loose from its seat during suspension drop (and thus make those cluncky noises). Other than that, it doesn't do anything at all! Almost all auto coilovers have linear springs. A few mm more or less preload is not important. As soon as the weight of the car comes on the coilovers, the preload is cancelled out by the weight of the car. Just make sure there is enough tension on the spring to keep it in place, like you said around 7 or a little more (stiff spring/soft spring), and you are ok. Your cousin is a lucky guy having you to help him out! 👍
