Hello Damion, Thank you for your video. One note; Don't worry too much about the preload. There is a lot of nonsense being told on the internet about spring preloading. The preload is only to ensure that the spring does not come loose from its seat during suspension drop (and thus make those cluncky noises). Other than that, it doesn't do anything at all! Almost all auto coilovers have linear springs. A few mm more or less preload is not important. As soon as the weight of the car comes on the coilovers, the preload is cancelled out by the weight of the car. Just make sure there is enough tension on the spring to keep it in place, like you said around 7 or a little more (stiff spring/soft spring), and you are ok. Good video.. alot of people don't do or don't know that they have to do this and not only with it make noise it will also cause premature failure to the strut
