There is NO life after death: Scientist insists afterlife is IMPOSSIBLE THERE is NO life after death, according to one well respected physicist who claims humanity has to abandon all fanciful beliefs and focus on what the laws of the universe dictate. Sean Carroll, a cosmologist and physics professor at the California Institute of Technology, believes he has put the debate surrounding the afterlife to bed after extensively studying the laws of physics. Dr Carroll states “the laws of physics underlying everyday life are completely understood” and everything happens within the realms of possibility. He says for there to be an afterlife, consciousness would need to be something that is entirely separated from our physical body - which it is not. Rather, consciousness at the very basic level is a series of atoms and electrons which essentially give us our mind. The laws of the universe do not allow these particles to operate after our physical demise, according to Dr Carroll. He said: “Claims that some form of consciousness persists after our bodies die and decay into their constituent atoms face one huge, insuperable obstacle: the laws of physics underlying everyday life are completely understood, and there's no way within those laws to allow for the information stored in our brains to persist after we die.” For his evidence, Dr Carroll points to the Quantum Field Theory (QFT). In simple terms, the QFT is the belief there is one field for each type of particle. For example, all the photons in the universe are on one level, and all the electrons too have their own field, and for every other type of particle too. Dr Carroll explains if life continued in some capacity after death, tests on the quantum field would have revealed "spirit particles" and "spirit forces”. Dr Carroll writes in the Scientific American: “If it's really nothing but atoms and the known forces, there is clearly no way for the soul to survive death. “Believing in life after death, to put it mildly, requires physics beyond the Standard Model. “Most importantly, we need some way for that ‘new physics’ to interact with the atoms that we do have. “Within QFT, there can't be a new collection of ‘spirit particles’ and ‘spirit forces’ that interact with our regular atoms, because we would have detected them in existing experiments.” Once this is accepted by all scientists, Dr Carroll says, then they can truly begin to understand how the human mind operated. He said: “There's no reason to be agnostic about ideas that are dramatically incompatible with everything we know about modern science. “Once we get over any reluctance to face reality on this issue, we can get down to the much more interesting questions of how human beings and consciousness really work.”

Infinite loop with branches (Nietzsche's eternal recurrence with branches): You die and you immediately begin the same life again, everything is initially exactly the same, you make all the same decisions as well as you make all other possible different decisions, you make all the same mistakes as well as you make all other possible different mistakes, you work the same job as well as you work all other possible different jobs, you have the same friends as well as you have all other possible different friends and you die in the exact same way as well as you die in all other possible different ways, just to do it all over again for eternity. Nietzsche's first reference to it is a thought experiment in The Gay Science. It goes like this, one day a demon visits you and says "Hey man. This life you are living right now? You're going to live the same life an infinite amount of times in every possible way and there mostly won't be anything new except for your own personal experiences because the world is built upon the same foundations and it's evolution such as society, people's movements as a whole population collectively, people's decisions as a whole population collectively, technology, your country as a whole, the world as a whole is restricted by the foundations it is built upon. Would you hate this or would you accept it? What if this is actually the case, when you die, everything resets back to when you were first born and you go through all the same experiences again as well as you go though all other possible different experiences. It might sound a little depressing , that this life is all there is, but every time I live my life it feels like it is the first time even if I have already had all of these experiences in the exact same way and all other possible different experiences in all other possible different ways an infinite amount of times already it still feels like the first time. All of my experiences feel fresh and new. You have to completely cease to exist first, for time to reset itself and to be able to live again. This is not you, it is a recreation of you because absolutely no information is transferred over right down to the last atom and last photon. It is like recreating the exact same thing from scratch after the original thing has completely ceased to exist. You have to hit nothingness which is oblivion and a non existent state and go through nothingness which is oblivion and a non existent state to be able to live again. Our universe is a mathematical structure based on quantum mechanics and general relativity and time only appears to flow forward because the entropy which is the disorder of the universe is increasing over time because information is added to a system, like we age, technology advances, things break, we form more memories of the past as we get older that is because entropy is increasing and we would not be able to live in a universe with decreasing entropy. The laws of quantum mechanics and general relativity do not distinguish between the past present and future and do not pick out a specific moment in time. Our universe did not get created and will not get destroyed it just exists like 2+2 had no choice to equal 4. Our universe had no choice to exist. The big bang is just the edge of our mathematical structure which has the lowest entropy of the universe. Particles can be in many places at once and since we are made up of particles we can be in many different places at once. Every time we measure the world around us, interact with the world around us, observe the world around us, when we make a decision and when something happens to us, we cause the universe to split and ourselves to split. Consciousness is just particles moving around and interacting with each other in very special patterns of configurations and is how information feels while it is being processed in very complex ways. Near death experiences and out of body experiences are certainly hallucinations caused by dying brain cells firing randomly and going haywire as they start to die. The brain is trying to survive as long as it can. Quantum field theory which combines general relativity with quantum mechanics says that there is one field for every type of particle and there are no spirit particles or forces that could be strong enough to interact with the atoms in your brain. You are made of up atoms, life is a process and there is no immaterial mind, when your body dies you die.
