Authentic people tell you the truth to your face, trying not to hurt your feelings. Authentic people do not gossip from one person to the other behind their back. Authentic people are confident in themselves, even though others might wanna bring down their confidence. Authentic people care about their environment their family, their pets, and their surroundings and their health. At least I just described myself. I pull no punches. I’m not gonna say behind your back when I tell you to your face.

you can be authentic and judgemental. stop trying to dictating how a person should act by presenting some traits in a positive light

I thought I was authentic but then I realised I actually just deeply value authenticity. In reality I care what people think about me. I sometimes do things I shouldn't for the sake of not disappointing others. I end up finding people frustrating when I fail at bring authentic. When you become truly authentic, other people's negative traits will not affect you as much because you will not bend or be influenced. As a result you eventually may become less judgemental of people because they simply cannot bother you.

You don't become truly authentic, as caring for what other people think is not necessarily a bad thing. I think it's a game of balance, and it captures different aspects: 1. Please, other people 2. represent a certain persona of yourself 3. do what you really enjoy doing or what benefits you, etc. If you only do what you like, for example, there's a negative element to this, just as if you only do what is good for you. In relation to being judgmental, I misunderstood the concept with being objective, as it's a distinct negative trait as opposed to being objective.
