A friend of mine sent me this video this morning. I just lost my beloved husband to Covid on October 19, 2024, after a two-month battle in an ICU. He had survived prostate cancer treatment in 2023, but it had compromised his immune system, and he couldn't overcome the pneumonia and other complications caused by this horrific disease. We were married for 40 years, and were far more than best friends, husband and wife, and soul mates. We were one - just as the Bible says. I truly don't know how to go on without him. I'm trying desperately to cling to my faith, but the pain and emptiness I feel is overwhelming. God seems so eerily silent right now, but this beautiful song reminds me to keep holding onto Him, and to the love, hope, and mercy He provides even when we don't see it or understand. Please pray that God gives me the strength I need.

Dear Debora, I'm so sorry. What a heartbreaking loss. Loving someone as deeply as you loved your husband makes it all the more painful. My heart goes out to you. There's a story that goes along with this song - a story of the family of Conlon Bonner, who is the male lead singer in the video. Their 9-month-old baby died the day before Conlon recorded the song. The tree of life 🌳 was for man to eat to receive the life and Nature of God to express God corporately but not His Godhead. Man failed and ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil 🌳 and Satan's sinful nature entered man. Jesus death terminated the old Adamic creation nailing it to the cross along with the law in letters and it's ordanances, also death and Satan were nailed there on the cross. The resurrection of Jesus brought in the New creation by breathing into those who believe the Spirit of life God's life and Nature that man would live not by his natural life but by the divine life the law of life through human virtues...
