I've listened to this Mr PC a lot.his vocabulary and phrases are amazing.and I found that some phrases come from his album"this meats that" so I think this Mr PC was recorded at 2007.If you know it,please let me know.

This version of songo is from around 1990 from the album Aqui el que baila gana. One of my favorite grooves. With Edmundo Pina adding the bass drum on the percussion pad.

One of the great alternative heads is Freddie Hubbard's Dear John. The hardest thing about this tune is the redundant repartition of the changes. A wonderful exercise is to actually slow the tune down to moderate swing and build a cohesive melodic solo.

Wynton is killing on this. Most people that criticize him are jealous because he made it and didn't have to patronize anyone. Wynton also learned from one of jazz great Trumpet players....the great Al Hirr
"he missed some notes" in an improvisation? is that possible? what? I have scrolled to the bottom of this comments section and all I have to say is: y'all jazz snobs are a buncha fuckin pricks lmao just listen to the damn music

Tyner's rhapsodic embellishments on his/Coltrane's "Wise One" will forever cement him as one of the truly greatest ever. Scofield simply takes us to the bleeding edge every damn time he straps on. A thrill to watch him conjure those next few flurries :) (Come to Louisville John!!) Jack and Ron need no intros(nor last names). Giants here!!
