The filter straw is quite annoying to have. I just removed it completely because I feel like that extra filtration is not necessary. Once removed it makes drinking much better and you still have all the features you need

Great review. Thank you! It’s perfect for travel for me; it takes care of heavy metals as well as viruses/bacteria in an all in one solution. In hot climates, I also appreciate the insulation! My previous solutions meant carrying a steripen and bottle but that left out metals and such which is a concern.

I’m actually on the fence with this water bottle, I currently own the steel lifestraw go and a grayl geopress, both good filtering water bottles for the price with each having their pros and cons. Thanks for the review and honest opinion.

They were originally, from the beginning actually from the outback communities in Australia. Farmers would sell them from offcuts of left over sheepskin. They had little stores on the side of the road, and due to the freezing cold weather in rural victoria and nsw, the uggs became popular. Uggs meaning, ugly boots. Australian slang shortens everything. They wernt a brand though. You could also get things like car seatbelt covers, and stuff. This was common to purchase on road trips. Then an australian guy brought them over to the us to sell, and californians liked them, because who wouldn't? But this design is through and through, is from the Australian farming community :)

Hey Jess, I personally found the popcush rather uncomfortable on the heel as if my foot was dipping which hurt my knees after sometime. Did you find anything similar? I'll probably stick with the classic old skools.

The hand wash is nice but I don’t think it’s worth it for the price, method hand wash is a lot cheaper and smells nice too, the smell on your hand lingers for ages.

how do u clean the bottle cap? mine smells so stinky but i wash it everyday and use alcohol swabs on it😭😭 theres like gunk stuck under where the thing u lift is

Oh no! Have you tried vinegar? Maybe that will work. I wash mine daily and let it completely air dry before using again.

The Granville looks much larger. Depends what you want to hold in the pack- I find this super functional for my use.

Depends on which colourway. Most people are going up in size, but I went true to size in men's sizing for both these colourways.

It depends which colourway you are getting. If you have wide feet I would go up in size.

I must be the same age as your mom because I have the same bag and I just cleaned it from my daughter. Any idea how to repair or change the hardware? I sprayed the little zipper tags with gold paint and I painted the zipper pull blue. But the hardware holding the strap-on is very chipped and ugly. Are you keeping yours that way? Enjoy your bag! I loved mine in 1982!
