Are you allowed to store Gas Cylinders under fixed structures? Can a gas bottles or gas containment structure (cages, barriers) area exist under a fixed structure? Example being a shelf or steel/wood walkway?

Why is he polishing the cylinder? Dude, you got places to be! I sometimes deliver 30 cylinders at a single drop. I don't got time to be cleaning this stuff. I deliver to mine sites. Them places be dirty as hell.

I'm a compressed gas driver and handler and wtf? NO CAP?! Are you asking for it to fall and snap the mechanism?! When I pick up empties, I don't even bother touching the ones without caps. And I don't use the spare ones on my truck. The customer is supposed to re-cap all cylinders when emptied. Giving them spare caps and it just encourages them to forget where they left the damn things (caps).

I have one of these welders. Since day one the high frequency start has been temperamental, and the downslope only works half the time whice I rely on for welding alluminium ( I pulse the button when im getting to the end of the weld). When it does what I want it to it welds brilliant, right up there with much more expensive welders ive used. Hindsight I would of brought something else

i bought one a few years ago , worked great on steel , but the pre programed settings for aluminum , are Wrong , and it wont weld aluminum , i returned it , got a new machine , exactly the same ,nfg, ( the word got there no good for ally and sales plummeted ), what did BOC do ? fix the problem ?, no, they removed the info from the manual, all they had to do was reprogram the eprom , with the correct volt and wires speeds for ally , but they didn't , i returned for refund , not fit for purpose ,shame really, as i would have bought a second , one just so i could have one for steel and one for ally ,

Hello, just wondering if you would have any idea of what’s causing an issue that I’m having with a Phoenix 400, I’m welding Aluminium and sometimes not every time, I’m welding; stop; and when I press the trigger the wire starts feeding backwards, stop again, press trigger and wire comes back. It has happened at different amps, don’t seem to find a pattern or a root of the issue, it’s weird and not helpful when I’m sometimes trying to tack something and holding with my other hand and have to let go of the part because wire is going backwards. Im in Australia and don’t have lots of information about these great machines.

took me a minute as well and then I realized one key difference between globular and pulse is that globular runs on pure co2 being more cost affordable but messier, as for pulsed is run on 90/10 AR co2 so it's a lot cleaner and less smoke build up however when doing both the smoke was about the same nothing to crazy.

Great welder but there are a couple of things they could have done better with the machine. A chart on the machine for different starting settings for material thickness and gas types like pretty much every other machine has would be great. There is a chart in the manual but it only has settings for argosheild light and stainsheild for some reason. I imagine a lot of people would be using co2 with this. Also it takes 5kg spools it doesn't say that in the manual. Great quality machine though I'm very happy with it.

Your "Submit enquiry on the BOC page isnt working... This kind of activity is throughout all departments from medical, to licensing, banking, funds being taken by other parties... I am certain it originates from Melbourne Australia and Optus and NineMSN. The Maltese and their parties are involved in spreading rumor's behind peoples backs without giving them any opportunity to defend themselves. Things like s11 protest group on September 11th 2000 and all the terrorist activities all originate in Melbourne. Russel street bombings, Hoddle Street shootings, Queen Street shootings... I am quite convinced that those I tried to contact back in 2004 were killed off and they (St Johns a 1000 year Maltese and Jewish Medical Military establishment) quickly took me into a hospital to claim I was insane when contacting authorities online and embassies. I am convinced Covid is the cover up for mass murder. Troops returning from Iraq after I shared some information all dropping like flies due to "PTSD" Pan AM Lockerbie, was loaded with explosives in Malta. My (Supposed) father Emmanuel Caligari used to work in Libya in the 70s around the time I was born. 6 months at a time. I am convinced he isn't my biological father. There was also a lot of suspicious activities with the church... I was brought here (Australia) in 1980 we constantly moved around, it was hard to find footing and establish a home and friends. They taunt people until they snap then call them "terrorist" I can't find a department to resolve all of this. They are "Getting sick and dying" always a new face, tired of repeating myself. _____________________________________________________________TO BOC: RE all your departments are just as incompetent and the authorities who used to investigate and enforce and prosecute were sent on some terrorist ghost hunt and never came back. The world is falling apart... Don't drag me down with you. Hello, I have changed my details before but they have not been updated. I was sent the invoices to an old address, That address is no longer even there, it has been demolished. My account number is 100271384 on the 19th of October 2020 I made contact about a debt which went to debt collectors. I had spoken to someone where I had given them my new address. An invoice was sent to my new address which I had then paid in full. New current and correct details are:Jeff Caligari23/07/1976BOC Account number 10027138448 Talbot Road Yagoona NSW 2199 (As of October 2020)0410865730 Never had any Spouse or dependents never owned property never managed or have been managed by any group of people. No connection or commitments with any groups or affiliates. No one is authorized to speak, act or make any decisions on my behalf. Any other details are fraudulent. This is a legal statement which obviously won't hold up in Australian courts because I have been through their system, All departments are like this, including the authorities and similar evidence is available. The courts don't want to see it. I would like the cylinder picked up. Is there a charge for pick up? I would like to know why my account wasn't updated. Thank you. my conversion chart says 1 bar is 17horsepower, so 4.5 x 17 means the compressor has to be around 77 horsepower. That sounds very high. Most bunnings compresors are around 3 or 4 horsepower. Have i got the conversion rate right? Do you sell the required compressors?
@boclimited
@boclimited 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Deborah, We unfortunately no longer offer compressors. What’s more important is the size of the compressor reservoir and the pressure it can deliver along with air flow rate. Horsepower and reservoir size will determine how quickly the reservoir can be topped up. The Cut 100B will require 4-5.5 Bar pressure, 160-180 l/min air flow rate to cut continuously, so the compressor must be capable of delivering >180 l/min of air.

can you do a aluminium weld on the raptor multi-purpose welder thanks
@boclimited
@boclimited 2 жыл бұрын
We would recommend only the Raptor200MIG and the Raptor200Multi for conventional MIG on aluminium and its alloys as it would have sufficient wire feed speed and amperage to weld up to 6 mm material. Let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks for your message. EWM are still in the development phase for a wireless foot control for the recently released Tetrix XQ version. They are going through a thorough evaluation process to ensure that it works under all expected conditions. We are hoping to launch a wireless foot control for the Tetrix XQ family becoming available late 2022. The current Tetrix XQ range is already pre-prepared for the wireless foot control for when they become available.

Can the Smootharc Multiprocess 175 be used for aluminium welding, my machine was supplied with grooved rollers specifically for aluminum welding, BOC/Afrox says need to replace the liner but on this video they new model the Smootharc Multiprocess 180 has mig pulse mode for aluminium welding so I am not sure if the Smootharc Multiprocess 175 can be used for aluminium mig welding also does anyone still have the original video for the Smootharc Multiprocess 175?
@boclimited
@boclimited 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Wynand, Thanks for your message. Our team has advised that 175 Multi can be used with the right torch setup and with an adjustment of the voltage trim. Typically can weld up to 6 mm thick but as it has no pulse (standard MIG only) the result is not as good as with a pulse.
