Glad I went the helvi over this, I believe this has not hot start or crater fill which is a serious omission for ewm. On a side note I have the Tetrix 230 which replaced my kempi mastertig 230 and the tetrix is on another level...love it

I have them both tje 180 and the tetrix, agree with you the 180 missing those thing. But this one being a small one i think is good enough, im happy with them both. I think BOC gives a good service as well, im costumer for more than 8 uears and have no complaints

How are you finding welding Aluminum with the Tetrix, I’m looking at a Miller dynasty soon but the tetrix has caught my eye with the features

@@MrChickenking44 I think the ewm is on another level compared to the Miller. More power and a smoother arc

can you do a aluminium weld on the raptor multi-purpose welder thanks

We would recommend only the Raptor200MIG and the Raptor200Multi for conventional MIG on aluminium and its alloys as it would have sufficient wire feed speed and amperage to weld up to 6 mm material. Let us know if you have any further questions.
