I saw him on Broadway around '02, '03. Absolutely amazing. That was my first Broadway show. Been a huge Les Miz/Theatre fan ever since.

Ich war in 4 Aufführungen (Duisburg-Melbourne-Duisburg-London). Mit Abstand am schönsten fanden wir es definitiv in Duisburg. Da stimmte einfach alles, von der Bühnentechnik über die Musik bis hin zu den Darstellern. Ich würde es gern noch einmal sehen.....

Mir geht es genauso, ich habe es dreimal in Duisburg gesehen einmal mit Charles Fonara und Kasper Holmboe - einfach genial. Und einmal in Bonn.

I first saw Sammy live at the Pigalle nightclub in London in 1961. He was, as always, sensational. It was his first live appearance at a London nightclub.

Sammy would have known many who wore the scars of master's whips. He would have heard about their experiences in living color. So, he performed for them. Thus, when he remarked, "I've had the privilege to be called a Ni--er in places my people have never been" He was saying to the many who paid the price, I FEEL YOUR PAIN,,,. You are our best Sammy, thank you brother,,,.

Die ganzen Kommentare sagen bereits alles ... dem ist nichts hinzuzufügen. Les Miserable und speziell die Duisburger Inszenierung und die Duisburger Cast stehen für die Superlative. Mehr geht einfach nicht. Ich werde Euch immer im Herzen tragen.

Met him at a house party at 8 Kings House Ave JAMAICA W.I. Ms. MAC house .Owner Macs enterprise at Slipe Rd. I was probably 12 years old.. VERY FRIENDLY little MAN that i clearly remember.

❤ Loads of love in homage to one of the greatest performers to ever grace theaters and stages. I had the privilege to see him on a Broadway stage in Golden Boy during the summer of 1964.
