One came with the premium color Perfect Cell back in the day. The base was so cool, looking like the ground being affected by the K-wave. This figure line is so cool, and the improvements over time is really nice.

Absolutely love the aura effect, i have it set up with my z fighters ssj goku. However i do have to agree that the head sculpt provided in the set is the worst bandai has ever made. the expression is ugly the hair looks off and is nearly comepletely 2 dimensional on the back. Just wanted to hate for a minute, great effects otherwise.

The S.H. figuarts Kamehameha blast effect is cool and all but with being so limited to a few figures tho I made my own using hot glue a cardboard tube and acrylic paints turned out pretty decent love the vid tho❤

Those are my thoughts as well! Although, the Son Goku effect set is made for the Saiyan Raised on Earth Goku and that head is loose on that body... 🤷♂️

They have the stands like that with ThreeZero DLX Transformers figures. They’re great as long as the figure mounting point is secure.

Thanks Matt! I think it is "right" for those of us that grew up that way. One thing I have learned from making these videos is that people have consumed Dragon Ball for the first time in so many different ways. So none of us are "wrong" but we probably don't realize how many different iterations of Dragon Ball there are world-wide because we didn't experience those. We only experienced it the way we did.

Ehh super ugly pins are slightly worse than the back spider logo issue and pinless is a huge upgrade. I own both figure and the renew your vows is easily better. From the pinless tech to the better headsculpt and articulation, all better on ryv. The legs on the retro won't even go straight, all the spidey on that mold have the same bow leged issue
