I don’t recommend using a coinstar. The tax is insane. Not only do some banks take coins but you can also use those coins from time to time at the self checkout in Walmart when you’re paying for your groceries or something. It takes a minute but it helps keep the change load light

what ever money i have at the end of the night i put in a jar... so if i withdraw 100 from checking and only spent 40 im saving 60... its amazing how much i have saved just in 6 months

You should never use a coinstar machine. You should always take your lose coins to a bank. They will give you those little coin rolls and you stick the correct denominations in there and then give them to the teller. That way you don’t have to pay exorbitant fees. Convenience always costs more.

Go to the bank or credit union and they will count your coins for you for free.

Screw coin star they keep a percentage. Wrap em up and go to your bank. It doesn’t take as long as you think to wrap coins.

The total on the counter may have been more. You have to pour in change slow to prevent overlapping and many miscounting
