Quatro is the same on all cars, starting from 2020 Audi started to use quatro ultra, that is completely different story!

Great information 9 years later as I consider a used A6 TDI. I have been shopping for a Passat tdi, but although not in the same price league the A6 is certainly more appealing. Thanks again for the education.

@@josepena6154 Had to sell it. It kept having more and more engine issues, and was burning through oil worryingly fast. We just couldn't justify continuing to repair it and so we traded it in.

The rubber boots rotted away so the cv joints have to be changed and we are in 2022 86000 kms

I much prefer the drivetrain on my old 2014 Audi to the watered down 2018 (B9) generation. The ZF8 was rated for 500hp, so the B8.5 tranny was tuned to put down a lot of torque in normal driving.

Hi Luke I have just bought an A5 convertible which does not have voice enabled as its a convertible but does have the button on the steering wheel. Can I enable it in my 2014 car? André
