2015 Audi A3 Review and Test Drive

The Audi A3 is finally back - and it's bigger than ever! 2015 brings us a fresh new format - the Sedan. In fact, there will be 5 different variations of the new Audi A3 as the model rolls out:
- Audi A3 Sedan with 1.8T front-wheel drive (170hp)
- Audi A3 Sedan with 2.0T quattro all-wheel drive (220hp)
- Audi A3 Sedan with 2.0T TDI clean-diesel engine
- Audi A3 Convertible
- Audi A3 Sportback (Hatchback) with etron plug-in hybrid system
Oh, and did I mention there will be an S3 sedan? :)
What's incredible about the A3 is that it packs all of the possibility of the flagship Audi A8 and the tech-wizard Audi A6.
Noteworthy is the next-gen Audi Connect system that connects the A3 to the internet via a T-mobile SIM card at up to 4G LTE speed. Trial subscription is 6 months, then pay-as-you-go.
With the Nav and other vehicle systems online, you get so much more capability than before. For example, let's say you know the name of a restaurant that you're going to, but not the address. Usually you would whip out your phone and do a search - now you can let your A3 do the searching. How about reading the reviews about that restaurant? Yes, the A3 can do that. Check the weather? Yep. Fuel Prices? Uh-huh. City Events? Check.

I like this video. The person is very honest about the vehicle such as how long it should be driven with four people and it shouldn't be driven no more than an hour but maybe 45 minutes just to travel and get out quickly. Now that's why the 2.0 is there to drive quickly. Lol :)

Just cause of you buddy i bought the same sline trim with 19inch mags. Great car one of the best on the road really is. I recommend this car. Great performance very underestimated. Faster than many cars on the market. Sexy look also

What's amazing is that if Audi tried to sell that model with MPG figures like that in the UK they would be laughed out the country, Considering that we have a almost 400hp RS engine option that will get better figures than that. Petrol must be alot cheaper in the states to compensate, although can't say I noticed that while I was in New York. I'm about to put my A3 Saloon S-Line order in, thankfully with much better economy than the US version, with very little difference in performance. It also interesting to note the differences in what different markets will find more appealing in terms of standard equipment, the UK and US version are quite different in that respect. Great video though, some lovely shots and surprisingly honest remarks. Great looking car, cant wait to get my order in.

Good review. However, I would appreciate some honest negative sides to the car as well cause every car has it thorns. But, its a dealership so I guess the bios sales talk is to be expected. Anyhow, for what its worth the review is clear and informative for the positive features of the vehicle.

Are you happy with the car? If you have s-tronic, there's a gearbox lag? How's the car soundproofing (eg at 130km/h, how's the wind sound?)? Also if you had the chance to test the ar, a5, how does the interior materials feel? (Tested an a5 with s-tronic and it had an annoying gearbox lag, when you kicked down the gass pedal. Also the soundproofing is not great (annoying wind at 110km/h+), maybe because frameless windows?) Thank you for your time!

I ordered an A3 over an A4 because the A4's B8 platform looks dated in both its interior and exterior and it lacks some tech options found only in the A3.

The difference btwn a3 and a4 are huge Not only in size (4a is one foot longer that a3 and 3"in wider which in automobile industry is huge. The finish on on the a3 lacks luxury and not like the rest of the audi's. A3 is a very very small car!! better off getting a VW GTI cheaper and same power.

Part of the reason Audi upgraded the chip set was to allow for advancements like this. We don't see it on the 2015 roadmap, but we should be seeing it soon!

OMG I hate living in Denmark, I want to buy this car, and I got about the 50k dollars, the problem is that this car is 180% (nearly 2x) more expensive than it is in USA. This particulier car costs 94k dollars in Denmkar..... and the price is even worse when it comes to the more expensive cars like A8, the A8 starts from 77k dollars, but in Denmark it starts from 330k dollars.... just saying Denmark isn't really that nice country, maybe there is welfare, but the hospitals doesn't even offer good service, the only thing they do is making a operating failure and making it a lot more worse. And the top taxes are 66% + a lot more hidden taxes :) #FuckingSocialsts
