Will this product also work for aggregate driveways?

Professional concrete sealer and repair tech here. I've mixed this product with 40-50% sand and/or grout and had much better results. Of course that means mixing it in a bucket in small batches and it's a bit of trial and error. I suggest practicing in paper lined muffin cups until you get the hang of it and the desired colour blend. For stamped concrete I just do a coloured sand that is similar to the colour of the stamp. It's very difficult to use on a horizontal surface, though because of the viscosity. Can be sealed over with a solvent based sealer.

Seems like that would be step one, then step two would be adding sand on top of the stone to blend.... assuming the sand won't be an issue?

No. Each 600 ml cartridge like the one shown will repair about 30 feet of 1/4 x 1/4" cracks. Partially used cartridge can be re-capped and used later. The static mixer must be replaced each time.

I can see your point. After re-sealing the entire slab. the repair will blend in nicely. Whenever you add a transparent material to a concrete surface, it will look wet or darker for a while.

WHAT? no before and after photo? I can see why --> U clearly exhibited a pretty amateur patch job... Honestly, I could have done this w/o a video Most of us here are looking for a restoration - and what you offer is just a patch job from Home Depot. Like many, I'm sure -- I have invested in a large exposed-aggragate patio (close to 1600-1800 s/f) that not only set me back a bundle, but was pored less than a year ago. Apparently without enough seams... A few K $ later the thing has several cracks in it... All my wife and I wanted was a nice outdoor area to entertain guests. Instead, we have (what looks like) an aged patio with grass and moss coming up between the cracks.

@Rich Morrow Rich, you really are a bozo. The product does not produce perfect finished concrete results. Whether thats broomed, troweled, or exposed agg. finish. If you want perfect results, replace it and fork out a load of cash to another contractor who doesn't compact the base properly. Why are you blaming this company for your misfortune? You deserved it.

Sad to learn 10 Minute Concrete Mender is not recommended for driveway/exterior repairs😯
@Roadware14 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are technically correct. Most exterior driveway cracks are actively moving from season to season. A Concrete Mender repair would likely cause the concrete to re-crack parallel to the repair. Our MatchCrete Clear allows for slightly more movement and it resists color change due to the UV rays of the sun.

You're killin' it with these videos Kelton!! Thanks for sharing so much practical, in-depth, useful information to educate viewers so quickly! I notice you didn't include 'residential driveways, sidewalks or garage floors' into your list here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHm8lnpngauNjrM Since you covered everything else so completely I suspect there's a reason... maybe 'happy homeowners' are not a viable demographic or something? If it's an area you plan to move into I'd welcome a chance to collaborate by presenting your product in a 'review' type video on my KZbin Channel: kzbin.info/door/XRNHTVpEdhz9BIvomETGiQ where I think the audience would find great interest in your products. EDIT: I just read that Roadware products are only sold 'through local commercial distributors' which, understandably, answers my question😎 Thanks again for addressing the important maintenance issue of effective 'hairline' crack repair! Best, Matt Jackson Next Level Carpentry on KZbin

What an excellent, informative video Kelton! Well presented 'rule breaking' information explained in layman's terms while expressing very technical information. Your products were recommended to me by my 'concrete repair guru' friend and I now know why he told me in effect that Roadware products are the only ones worth using. I browsed your website over a month ago and, while I saw information showing depth of penetration/repair of this product it was harder to process and 'digest'. THIS video is remarkable in condensing all the technical information found elsewhere on your website into one, hype-free, informative sales pitch... my compliments to you. I look forward to using your product on my own driveway soon! Best, Matt Jackson Next Level Carpentry on KZbin
