I do this at work lmao (i work with old people) Sometimes they’re very stubborn about something I’ve already completed bc I know them and what they want at this point - BUT they don’t remember that so I pretend to do it again so they will be content 😅

Tatyana your vid quality is getting so much better - the triptych idea was great. A lav mic will be icing on the cake: you won't drop volume when you turn away from the camera to put focus on the art.

Bernini's sculptures really captured the Baroque essence of movement and dynamics portrayed through art, which creates a contrast to Renaissance's elegant and less dynamic statues ❤ I'm a fan of both the eras

This is like gossip from 3000 years ago or what? How can it be true? Is it a moral tale: "tell people what they want to hear?".

A similar story is told about Mimar Sinan (Hodja Sinan, Grand Sinan, who was a very successful architect in Ottoman Empire.) As he was building a mosque, he overheard a kid telling his friends that the minaret of the mosque (the long towers to the side of the dome of the mosque) was leaning slightly to one side. The famous architect gathered a few of his men, tied a rope around the shaft of the minaret and had the men pull the minaret to "correct" it. He had the child observe and once the little one was satisfied they stopped. After the kid and his friends left, the men asked him, "Hodja, a few men pulling the building with ropes won't budge it a bit. Why have us sweat for a kid?" Hodja replied, "If we hadn't satisfied him, he would've only seen the skewed minaret in his imagination when he looked at the mosque. Rumours, even if not true, leave their marks. Everyone in the town would've called it the mosque with the skewed minaret!"

This is for the people in restaurants and the people that control the music, etc. Many times people will say thank you that’s fine after they’ve been told there’s a correction because they know nothing’s going to be done. So most of the time you’re not fooling anyone. This does not relate to this story, however.

Many modern artists and fashion designers make ugly and shocking works just for the publicity. Potrait of the King filled with blood stains gave the painter a lot of publicity so it worked. I'm fine with that but then there's Art Galleries like Kiasma in Finland that bought a videotape of man torturing and killing a cat and having sex with the corpse and invited the criminal to all its events praising his deeds after he got convicted for the crimes, Art Gallery that seeked to starve and dehydrate dog to death in it's exhibition and Art Auction site Christies that sells child mannequin s.x dolls and Art Galleries that were going to showcase them as "art" but backtracked after child advocacy groups and public protested it.
