I binged this book on Audible and oh my goodness it was just so sweet. I was not expecting to love the whimsy so much! Absolutely a beautiful little Christmas story that will get you into the spirit. The moments of redemption and the sweet story between the sisters as they evolved towards the end was something very precious to see. Absolutely loved it easy five star for me. Hope you all had a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Excellent job, Katie! I too struggle with sticking to lists I make, and I didn't even manage to complete my 23 in 2023 so for this year I set my 24 in 2024 up differently. Instead of having a set list I just gave myself the parameters that I could use any book as long as I owned it physically prior to the end of 2023 (and I did allow myself to listen to the books on audio if Hoopla had them and it was a book I already owned!) this actually worked really well for my mood reader self (I finished my 24 in October!) so I'm planning to do the same in 2025! 💜

It was a great story. I sought out this video minutes after completing the book. As you noted, the characters were great. I had a soft spot for Orin as well. I was a bit stressed with some of the intrigue and thought things would take a certain turn. It brought tears to my eyes.
