Hello Mr. Erick. I have been following your videos on farming of tomatoes. I am in Kenya. I have been reading about the F1 varieties for greenhouse producing between 15-20 kilos per plant. If you have done greenhouse farming of tomatoes, would you confirm this to be true? Like have you ever got such kilos per plant typically?
@ERICKKUMARI
@ERICKKUMARI 9 сағат бұрын
Most of average farmers gets 5 -8 per plants, however with GAP you can reach a full potential of 15-20kg per plant

@@ERICKKUMARI Mold is dangerous for health.
@ERICKKUMARI
@ERICKKUMARI 22 күн бұрын
@@faisalmohamed727 Thank you for sharing these important tips. What I knew was cassava contain the dangerous poison if not managed, another knowledge, i had is that cassava is not generally associated with mould and aflatoxin contamination when fresh, due to the high moisture content and the presence of antiaflatoxin compounds. Hence, it can be considered as a crop that is resistant to aflatoxin contamination. With that knowledge I never opened my mind that traditional mould method poses dangerous and risks of aflatoxin. I'm glad that we have moved away from the old method of molding. However, there wasn't any formal education on this change; instead, people were naturally drawn to the superior products produced by the new methods. Unlike the traditional approach, which didn't yield pure white flour, the soaking method delivers a much whiter and higher-quality product. Once again thank you for your insights.

Realistically speaking, and considering all factors. Lets say as an example Uncle Joe has 10 acres of land. How many laborers does it require from start to finish and what will be his profit per acre if he can have 400kg yield per acre at a selling price of $1.18 p kg
@ERICKKUMARI

Taking all factors into account, with an average yield of 3,000 kg from 10 acres, a production cost of Tsh 4,000,000, and an average selling price of Tsh 3,000 per kg (totaling Tsh 9,000,000 in sales), the profit amounts to Tsh 5,000,000. This results in a Return on Investment (ROI) of 125%.
