To choose a variety first, soil type, temperature at your area, rain fall, with loose soil you need a highly vegetative variety and with less permiable soil (soil that hold alot of water you need a less vegetative variety.

How do you prepare starter solution for your seedlings? Which fertilizer do you use?

There are different starter solutions. We regularly use balanced NPK 15:15:15.
