I never wouldve used oil pastels until I saw this tip! How long does it take to dry or can you use a sealant & frame?

Nice, short video! The music was quite loud compared to the speaking, though.

I like your process, choosing a few papers to start with, then cutting them to 'fit'. The mark making at the end brings it all together. Thanks.

I'm wondering what that kind of paint that is. It's so thick and glossy and comes in a tub-never seen it before, I don't think.
@RebeccaChapmanArt2 ай бұрын
It's just acrylic paint - I pre-mix it into pots to save me a bit of time :)

can i use different paper (i had to search the net to see what copper paper is)
@lucymathersart6 ай бұрын
Copier paper - the stuff that goes in photocopy machines or printers, but most papers should work, just give it a try with what you have (watercolour paper might be patchy because of the texture) - for example, try doing it on a book / magazine page and you might get some of the text to transfer as well for a different look.

@@lucymathersart thanks, i will try

sorry for the confusion! probably my accent! Thanks @lucymathersart :) yes copy paper - but any paper should work fine (avoid photo paper though)

You know that you can use that piece of paper with the original oil pastel drawing on it more than once! Even though it has blue paint all over it now, the oil pastel will still act as a resist, a second, third, and sometimes even fourth time.
@RebeccaChapmanArt6 ай бұрын
oooh yes! Thanks for the reminder - I do always forget that and just rush to use it as collage paper! :)
