This is a new technique I didn’t know about so thank you so much for sharing! Looking forward to giving it a try!

Thank you for this technique. I love simple with splendid results. I would love to hear your voice better yet music competed. Just a thought. Thank you.

yes - sorry about that I think the music was a little loud!

You know that you can use that piece of paper with the original oil pastel drawing on it more than once! Even though it has blue paint all over it now, the oil pastel will still act as a resist, a second, third, and sometimes even fourth time.

oooh yes! Thanks for the reminder - I do always forget that and just rush to use it as collage paper! :)

What a great way to get a free loose motif and use up all the colours of oil pastels that I don't like! Thank you for sharing

You are so welcome! I'm always left with the purple ones that I don't like :)

Nice, short video! The music was quite loud compared to the speaking, though.

I never wouldve used oil pastels until I saw this tip! How long does it take to dry or can you use a sealant & frame?

can i use different paper (i had to search the net to see what copper paper is)

Copier paper - the stuff that goes in photocopy machines or printers, but most papers should work, just give it a try with what you have (watercolour paper might be patchy because of the texture) - for example, try doing it on a book / magazine page and you might get some of the text to transfer as well for a different look.
