I always threw kevlar liners in my mountain tires. I think these days UHMWPE would be cheaper. You *can* cut it from cheap panel and use a heat gun to shape it. I was contending with chollas cactus, which I think you have too, vicious bastards. I'd be curious how this hippo skin handles those.

As a native Las Vegan, I'm surprised I need to remind you that it ALWAYS stays warm until right before Halloween. Growing up here every year, us kids were always all excited to go out trick-or-treating in the neighborhood with our awesome costumes and shorts, but every single year, without fail, right before Halloween, anywhere from a day to a week out, it got too cold to wear shorts and we ended up having to put jackets on over our costumes messing up all our hard work. That is the way it's always been, at least since the '70s. This year looks to be the same as well. We're dropping 20 degrees in the next week. Get those hoodies out now! Thanks for the video!

Was 45° when I left to work in Hesperia at 4am. Felt amazing.

That footage and editing from 7:00 is incomprehensibly great. It's hard to believe. It's as though Joey effortlessly swings his arms around and something inconceivable to any normal mind is trapped and then unlocked. Jawdropping, to me. Not only is the editing/production so spectacular; just to envision the end product while shooting spins my mind.

Nice video once again. We’ve been having weird weather all over the country this summer. Lots of conspiracy theories going around about what’s causing it, but it’s all speculation. La Niña has been affecting weather off and on for the past twenty some odd years, and about the time it looks like we’re going back to normal La Nina comes back again.
