I don't see the requisite license plate holder for motorized vehicles capable of 25+ mph as required by my state, ICE or EV

Hey, so I’ve been following you for a couple years since the big old drought but I really like these videos. I had a question I want to get a toy that I can get decent range out of that is pretty quick that I can go in dirt. what would you recommend I kind of like something likethis Surran

Pretty Cool Scooter. To bad that with the dual motor function they can not revert energy from one to the other to recharge the unused battery to get just a little more miles out of it. Keep up the Awesomeness Brother.. Peace

The stuff they're making these days, is crazy. i think Springsteen's line in Born to Run, "suicide machines" might apply if someone isn't careful. Having said that, even a regular bicycle going 40mph (not easy, I've done it twice and didn't enjoy it) is incredibly dangerous. But these things make it too easy. I think 20mph (max legal without pedaling) is a good limit for something like this.

lol currently trying to get rid of my 20mph scooter. if you think THAT'S a good limit you can have it. solid scooter to be fair but with it topping out at 19 mph (occasionally 21 to 22 for split seconds) it feels like i'm going nowhere fast.

These electric scooters are incredibly dangerous, the rider's center of gravity is way to high at any speed really, if you must ride one, keep it under 10 MPH at all times, I had a friend who was seriously injured on one of these things recently!

Yeah, they go way tpo fdastt. Should be sold by dealers, require insurance, registration and a operators permit or license in all states. Only a handful of states have rewritten their rules to accomodate EVs, but still don't require dealers to sell them properly. People, including police I speak to,think it's ok to ride them wherever they want including sidewalks which is incorrect. Motorized vehicles of any kind are not allowed on sidewalks in most states

i ride my scooter at 45mph no problem lol. if you know how to ride motorcycles then scooters is not much different. u feel so much more free on a scooter that being said u def gotta be more aware and defensive. the torque on these things are insane and addicting!🧘♂️

@kaizz3n "if you know how to ride a motorcycle" is key phrase in your comment. It is why some states require a motorcycle safety class and/or permit for anything capable of going more than 25 mph

@@danam0228 no you’re absolutely right-motorcycle safety is important. however, i’m not planning on taking the class or getting a permit anytime soon, but i appreciate your concern! for reference, you’re correct that some states, like california and florida, require a safety course or special endorsement for motorcycles exceeding 50cc or capable of higher speeds. still, for low-speed rides or electric options, there are often exceptions. thanks for the heads-up!
