Put 20 pounds in the flatbed of the TRX6 for more traction. Put bigger wheels/tires on the cart (bicycle size) to make it easier to pull. Hook up the Chevy and the TRX6 to the cart at the same time to give you more power. (maybe one controller in each hand? Maybe hook up a 3rd truck, too, and have your wife drive it with one hand while she films you with the other?).

@ezboyrc5532 күн бұрын
It wasn't that tight. It just seemed like it because it didn't go in straight. It goes real easy, actually, not to mention I've been driving the truck for over a year now with no issues. I properly maintaine them regularly. But this truck has seen the most abuse by far and handles every bit of it. No problem,

That is a hard decision, because they perform the same. I think I like to Range Rover. It's just a little bit better for looking to me. @ezboyrc5534 күн бұрын
Thanks, buddy. I appreciate it. Yeah, I do lube up the bearings quite often when I rinse it off, not to mention I ordered 2 sets of bearings when I built a car because it comes with bushings, so I replaced all of them and got an extra set just in case.
@jacobdavis23784 күн бұрын
@ezboyrc553 no problem buddy, I usually order two fast Eddy bearing kits when I'm doing a kit or an RTR for future rebuilds, I went through a lot of them in my racing days, but I primarily crawl now at lake corriher and haven't seen much if any bearing issues, I had 1 and that was because I bought a truck used and didn't check all the bearings beforehand. I'm glad to see someone build a general out of something readily available
@ezboyrc5534 күн бұрын
@jacobdavis2378 The TT02 chassis that I used is great for the General Lee If you've seen the video where I made the body fit, the wheelbase was off, so I actually cut the Fender wells on the car. To look proper and then painted the trim around it again. I have seen people cut the chassis and extend them to fit the wheelbase better. I think the way I did it was a lot easier & It looks awesome still.
@jacobdavis23784 күн бұрын
@ezboyrc553 it looks incredible. There was one a guy built years ago and the video is still on KZbin he jumped it but he made some custom stuff, which is fine if that's what you can do but to be able to build one as easily as you did is sweet.

@MR.B.1620 Before I had a KZbin channel, I never really heard of a crawler. All I had was off-road cars, Nitro, and large-scale gas-powered 2 cycle mix. My favorite still is large 1/5 scale gas-powered. But they are hard to video by yourself. I need a GoPro on my head. I have an airplane FMS sent me that I haven't made a video flying yet. Because I have to come up with a way to film it and fly it at the same time by myself. I cannot afford a gopro right now.

@ezboyrc553 that's a tough one for sure!!! I had a couple 1/5 scale 2 cycle which were fun as heck. Just need a lot of space to play and store. Love the fuel burners though so I stuck with the nitro.
