Thank you. I'm poor, so I do what I can do on a budget. A little tape and a bottle cap worked perfect for the thumbstick. Collecting RC cars is very addictive. I only had 1 or 2 RC,s, when I started my channel back in 2021, I think. I have about 35 RC,s Now & still going. LoL

@ezboyrc553 actually this channel inspired me to show all my rc car bodys that have saved over the years and I have a general lee body like yours and 2 of the smaller versions and I got lucky enough to get what I want to call the best rc car I have ever had...and one of the small general lee bodies fit on it not as perfect as yours and it's fast off road style lol I made a few videos of it...but I have never got all the cool s2 s3 stuff that yall pro rc car drivers get but your channel has made me want to.... like in real life I more of a driver no good as mechanic lol....keep them rolling 👍👍👍👍👍

That is awesome. Thanks for watching. I'm looking for one of the smaller General Lee bodies so I can make a 1/18 scale as well to go with my trucks that size. If you would like to sell or trade one, let me know. I don't know what I would have to trade, but I can check,

You won't want to get in there while I'm driving it. I can't keep it on its wheels. LOL

I love the general Lee thats freakin cool, all that Carolina sand id be checking bearings all the time out of habit as a former dirt racer 😂 keep up the awesome content
@ezboyrc5533 күн бұрын
Thanks, buddy. I appreciate it. Yeah, I do lube up the bearings quite often when I rinse it off, not to mention I ordered 2 sets of bearings when I built a car because it comes with bushings, so I replaced all of them and got an extra set just in case.

@ezboyrc553 no problem buddy, I usually order two fast Eddy bearing kits when I'm doing a kit or an RTR for future rebuilds, I went through a lot of them in my racing days, but I primarily crawl now at lake corriher and haven't seen much if any bearing issues, I had 1 and that was because I bought a truck used and didn't check all the bearings beforehand. I'm glad to see someone build a general out of something readily available

@jacobdavis2378 The TT02 chassis that I used is great for the General Lee If you've seen the video where I made the body fit, the wheelbase was off, so I actually cut the Fender wells on the car. To look proper and then painted the trim around it again. I have seen people cut the chassis and extend them to fit the wheelbase better. I think the way I did it was a lot easier & It looks awesome still.

@ezboyrc553 it looks incredible. There was one a guy built years ago and the video is still on KZbin he jumped it but he made some custom stuff, which is fine if that's what you can do but to be able to build one as easily as you did is sweet.
