I hope you look into Herta's puppet's eyes and say "I'm sorry". /j Now seriously, I love Herta's character and I'm very excited about the lore. I really want to know what's going on for Herta to just show up physically. I'm also waiting for the reactions lol Her name may sound silly but both her appearance and name make sense personally wise. She looked old once, but de-aged herself. However, as Kafka comments in one of the first lines in the whole game, Herta is most likely hundreds years old. She chose to have her puppets look like her child self, and she probably chooses to look "young and attractive" on purpose. To quote Herta herself: "Not bad! But the real me is better-" She's straight to the point and will look the way she thinks will benefit her. There's a lot about Herta that has been known since the beginning of the game. You just have to bother to read the readables. She's also saved her home planet many, many times and has been, most likely, been targeted by Polka Kakamond at least. Polks Kakamond's objective is to stop and murder any genius who is close to uncovering something groundbreaking. The attacks on The Blue (Herta's home planet) are probably not to kill the people there but instead to make Herta save them, forcing her to stop her research. I suspect that the reason Herta lives in a remote place nobody knows of is because she's aware she's a murder victim waiting to happen, which means that if she's here in the flesh something REALLY bad must be happening.

Some of the changes in the remake make the writing look a bit off. Like in this video Kyne accidently killed the captain when the captain jumped him, but in the original it was shown Kyne himself was insane as he actively stabbed him in the eye when restrained. Kyne was made to be less insane in the remake for some reason which really kills some of his story. I honestly feel like the story portions of the remake feel like they might have been rushed. They just don't hit the same way the original did. Like Mercer and Kyne were both supposed to be examples of insane, yet in the remake neither really seem that crazy. Mercer more just comes off as a heavy unitologist and Kyne seems like he's just got anxiety.

And there are popular streamers out there treating the people in stream chats as students to the point that the streamers present themselves as teachers, especially in the field of degeneracy, for better or worse.

Aglaea reminds me less of Midas, and more of the Golden Fleece. Namely because the Fleece is a prominent story of the Argonauts, a collection of Greek heroes who went on all kinds of adventures.
