(2024)Im a newbie in Photography and also on a low budget 😊 and by 2morrow i will receive my first mirrorless camera sony a6000 (just fell in love with the design of the sony a6000 - antrazit grey black) and im so thankful for your Tipps and Tricks on how to use my 10 Year Old Camera in the right way and i now with 300 € more i could get the sony zv e10 but im not into video making actually (not for now) and i will spend my money on better lenses in the future it will take sometime since working 9-5😮 but hey anyways , THANK YOU *SUBSCRIBED*

Try setting the camera to remote control ON in the menu, that should keep it from shutting down by itself.

Very Very interesting But if you don't mind, I have a question What is the priority focus the camera chooses if we turn on both Eye AF and also Face Detection? When I turn on both of them, I hold the AEL button, a small green border appears around the eye of the subject, it disappears after a second, and right after that, the big green border appears around the whole face of the subject. So, seems like when I press the Shutter button, the Face focus will be applied for my photo instead of Eye focus. Do we need to turn off Face Detection when using Eye AF?

Recently bought sony a6000 and in the app I can only see the shutter button and the gallery button..Can't change any of the camera settings...How to fix that?

the problem here is that the time between shooting 3 or 5 pics in this self timer is too fast . there is NO time to pose between pics.

Can't we change the location of the spot when spot metering is selected? For example subject is not in middle in my frame and I want the metering to be set based on the subject.
