Epic trip, beautiful photos. Doing this trip next year on my WR 250R. 2 X riders unsupported from WA. Transcontinental Railway access rd to SA and beyond. Yep Yamaha was onto a winner here. WR 450 R version would be a winner, enjoyed the vid.

Hey mate, awesome video! Do you reckon getting a windscreen is worth it for the WR? I’ve got one aswell and been considering installing a windscreen for longer adventures!

Windscreens certainly help on those high speed long runs but to what extent also comes down to the riders height.

Excellent mate. We were a week or so behind ya. Don't tell too many how good it is. Lol😂. Maybe a WR450 or a CF moto 450. Great channel, keep up the good work. We towed a Tvan across. Bit of luxury.

G'day Rob. I'm just under 6 foot with a longer torso than legs. The bars I have on the bike are the Protaper "Pastrana FMX/ATV Race" or at least that is what is written on them. Just watch going too high as your cabling my not be long enough

Great footage and great commentary - thanks for sharing. Couple of quick questions if I may - what milage did you do on your tyres, what street/road pressures did you use and tell me, did you get any flats?
@bikeaction.4 ай бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the video mate. I got over 10 thousand kilometres out of the tyres but the front Rallz should have been changed around 9 thousand as it starts to heel and toe pretty badly. If I’m mainly doing road riding I’d keep the pressure up around 30 pounds but through the Flinders I ran 25 pound all round. No flats in the duration of these tyres 👍
