Just curious, though why would /i/ in bi7!obb be pronounced as [ɪ] rather than [e]? Is the /u/ and /i/ to [o] and [e] only after the stressed syllable ? Also, does the spreading of emphasis only happen when the vowel before the emphatic consonant is long?

I was a major in education in History and it looks like a lot of these words had to do with the politics and trade that probably existed between the Moors and the Spanish people in the Iberian peninsula.

correct me if i m wrong but i m pretty sure "raayeh" means "the one that goes" as it is gendered like "raayeha",raayeheen" ,so in spoken arabic "i m going" is literally " i m the goer/the one that goes".

Or : 1. Les cadres dirigeants sont actionnaires. Tiens. 2. Beaucoup d'hommes et femmes politiques de premier plan sont actionnaires aussi. Tiens. Tiens. On retrouve les mêmes bénéficiaires : Cadres dirigeants. Politiciens dans la non taxation de certains bénéfices.

Is the active participle for "learning" not used much? Is this why you used "going" at 4:45 to explain المصدز?
@tomcolley9008
@tomcolley9008 6 ай бұрын
No it’s not used. Not every verb has a active participle that can be used like that. I think of the AP as adding “er” at the end of an English word. So if you say Ana raayih you’re basically saying “I’m a goer”, which basically translates as I’m going. As he explained in his dedicated video, taalib (a student) means a “seeker/requester” but you couldn’t use it as in “I am requesting”, you’d use the verb to ask for that.
