I like these but how are they for beginners when I’m a level 9 white mage still leveling in a beginner if I’m buying millions of Gil worth of gear I’m not a beginner anymore lol

I started playing FFXI 2 weeks ago on a pilgramage to play all mainline games. Love this guide, realised I had been negelecting to use my Dragon's abilities and knowing some of the better moves have been very benificial. 6 years later and it is still putting in work.

Very comprehensive. I would add that "Stay" can be used strategically to help allow you and any allies to zone if a battle is going badly.

I was a bard pre blue mage. Those were the days you could potentially wait real days to get a group. But my bard would have a group within an hour, when i put my flag up. I started a new character a couple months ago, and decided to start bard again. I know the game isnt what it was, but im hoping to be able to find a good linkshell soon. Im already a 99 rdm. Im here to remwmber how to play bard, and maybe pick up some tips that i didnt know.

That Umbra was amazing! Why did that 3rd stardiver do so much more than normal? I missed whatever buff you got to make it do 2x the damage of the others.

RDM/DNC for solo long lifer combo

RDM/DNC was my go too back in the day. Both combo so well and at higher level's the combo mixes the longevity of DNC and diversity/enfeeble of RDM. Solo Camp combo RDM/DNC

Id love to see some of your gear sets! Trying to main NIN more effectively. Maybe look into making/updating the NIN guide!

Add this to your Ultimate Weapon stack: Crocea Mors has the single highest Fast Cast rating on a weapon in all of Vana'diel, making it essential for easing the gear burden on any precast setups. You are 1/4 of the way to 80% FC with this sucker, worth the price of admission. Path C is your immediate, go-to option, playing directly into a Red Mage's playstyle.

RUN has the highest natural Great Sword skill in the game. This is a feasible option, but you gotta do it right or you're dead. Lionheart and Epeo are the big ones, but an addendum would be Helheim (Stage 3 Minimum). This thing slaps. Hard.

Does the "Beast roll" work with PUP for the bonus you mentioned? Or is it only beastmaster? I assume the "Drachen roll" is dragoon .

Addendum: Upgrading *Heathen's Cuirass* to +3 boosts Dread Spikes to obscene levels, as it increases the HP threshold by 55%. Upgrading *Heathen's Flanchard* to +3 makes Nether Void a devastatingly potent ability.

3:00 With the game's built-in accuracy limit of 95%, isn't Impetus not very useful for a 50-hit cap out? It should only reach 50 one in...I'm not sure but it's an astronomically high number I expect. The average miss should happen between 10 and 30 hits.

I may not play final fantasy 11 anymore but I do enjoy these videos explaining classes I could play as that werent available on the ps2 or xbox versions back several years ago. To further delve, I play final fantasy 14 now

I've been getting an urge to resub and play the jobs I never played through the campaign. Probably blu first because I never unlocked its spells but pup and summoner look fun

I quit after Rhapsodies and Seekers. I had everything at level 119 (but some jobs weren't trained or given "proper" gear like my paladin which has burtgang aegis ochain). My fave jobs to play as were... Beastmaster Paladin Thief Dancer Blm Never played these...Blu, cor, geo, sch, pup

I love Dancer, especially in Dynamis when they changed it to Job Ability proccing on certain enemies. Farming currency for relics is so easy now.

Best class in ff11

For any new/returning players watching this, Dancer is the king of one of FFXI's endgame content and thanks to prime weapons now has access to light skillchains! DNC was slept on for a long time but now it's shining.
