Guys, been watching your videos a while. Love the content. My 06 Rubicon auto is in the shop right now having 5:38 gears installed as a result of your gears video. I need your help!!! The shop is installing a 6” long arm kit also. They say the steering stabilizer won’t fit after install and I need a new steering system with more room in front of the axle. I say that the front control arms are not adjusted properly. Can the upper or lower arms be out too long, pushing the axle too far forward into the steering? Appreciate your opinion.
@RubiKidd062 күн бұрын
@@shawng8432 Right so we have already covered this. We address this on my jeep. This is hardly speaking by the way with RubiKidd and it can be a mixture of multiple things, especially if they’re stretching the axle layout may be extending the wheelbase as such so you might have to mount that steering stabilizer slightly on the bottom of the drag link so that way it’s not hitting the radiator and also in that combination of things you have to make sure it’s not intersecting with your track bar now with you being on a 6 inch I do not think that this will be as much of an issue for you given that I am on a 3 inch platform and I know that is very rare but we got it to work after a lot of investment and you can find this by watching more of our videos we address this since we did my 3 inch set up but definitely check the flex. I would put a jack under it and flex it out as much as you can.

I was driving this past july up above hot springs,nc on rich mountain road when an about 300 lb bear came barrelling down the hillside out of the thick mountain laurel a mere 10 yards infronr of my new Colorado zr2. I had jusr camw around a switchback in the road. So thankfully it was not on a straight stretch or that bear could have ended up inside my open drivers side window!

When I hit the power steering button on my steering wheel, the icon on the instrument cluster shows that my power steering is on, but nothing happens when I hit the set speed button. Besides the clockspring, which I'm not going to make the effort to change, what could be causing that?

Most forums I read are against it. I have a drop pitman arm and a drop track bar bracket. I just switched out my upper ball joints and had it aligned. Even got it Fox rear shocks and new antisway bar bushings. It still wants to walk all over the highway. Especially, on rough roads or high speeds above 60. I have a fairly new RC track bar with a drop bracket. Tomorrow out of desperation I'm putting in a damper.
