Great that the Museum has a current study and you didnt take my advice in your post and skim them 😂

Interesting. Your video of you finding them might have precise geotag location on it.

Hi mate thanks for the heads up in about six or seven years. I’ve only found two. They are pretty hard to find and not valuable at all so I think that’s okay but if anyone reading the comments if they do find any then please donate them to the W.A. museum I will doublecheck the Geo tag location and delete if it is there.

So true, was tempted to take one to a party and put it on a plate and wait till someone grabbed it and bit into it, probably break their teeth but exactly like a biscuit

Gday I live ( near Bridgetown) there are many many places you can find garnets many kinds of crystal quartz, Gold, Pyrite , and many other rough gemstones. For anyone seeking to do some Rock hounding. It is 3 hours south of Perth but most definitely worth the trip. Especially with the kiddos. No secrets here. There are hundreds of creeks, river runoff’s ect. Just be sure to check the laws and restricted areas. Otherwise have a ball and enjoy 👍👍👍

Esperance is a beautiful place. It is such a shame that the ocean water is too cold and it is too far to travel there from Perth.
@godsowncountry36057 күн бұрын
I have been there in February 2003 . The water was cool (20°C / 68F) but i couldn´t stop swimming in these waters. The water coulour and the absolute white sand are from another world. I am German and I knew that this would be a once in a lifetime experience i would never forget. I go swimming in the Atlantic Ocean here in Europe, not very warm either. From Esperance catamaran tours are offered throug the archipelago where you can watch fur seals and Cape Barren Geese and some dolphins as well.

Until this week I've only ever seen these in bushland. Over the past few days I've had one in my suburban (Perth area) backyard, 2 or 3 km from the nearest bush.
