Beginning to feel like Golden Trail, Salomon etc are treating the runners like gladiators. Staging short/fast races on dangerous terrain so that the footage looks good. It risks becoming the equivalent of motorsports focusing on crashes. I enjoy the racing and following the personalities, but not at the expense of the welfare of the athletes. Let's do better.
