Haha, ya DH usually has at least 1 or 2 cool mechanics that other classes can't do on some fights. The UI/WAs is AtrocityUI, you can look it up online or my discord has information on how to get it.

I think it’s fine because with the damage we have now this late into the patch that mechanic is honestly pretty irrelevant. Kinda wish the skitters in P2 were also excluded cause I usuallyyy never really got to blow my full rotation of them like most were able to 😂.

@@danielrtipton the Kazakh MRT Weak Aura, you need a ERT personal note in conjunction with it to work. I believe there’s a function in ERT its self and a Liquid weak aura (not sure which one) that does the same thing and easier to set up.

Ya I think this boss is prettyyyyy hard for DH, so many obstacles to dodge. You have to be really precise with your movement or just not use it at all during certain mechanics or you'll just get one shot.

@@manamana231 I’d agree, DH for the effort put in isn’t as rewarding as it should be. As a person that has gotten used to how the class plays now it doesn’t feel like too much, but then again, I don’t play other classes lol.

To be fair, the class fantasy of a demon hunter is being a hyper mobile and fast class. The actual tuning needs work but the gameplay of the spec is fun imo. If you really don’t want to move around that much, there are no mover builds out there. Voodoo recently made a video about them. Havocs highest simming single target build is actually a no mover build with Aldrichi Reaver.

@@Drewbertttt I like the class fantasy and how DH is played, no complaints on my end, just wish that it was a little bit better so it can compare with the other top M+ classes. I heard the build you are talking about is best if you play it perfectly with 100% uptime, if not I think the standard build is still better.

@@Drewbertttt Ya, it’s definitely not good enough for people to take the time to learn the spec, its probably the hardest iteration of demon hunter ever and there are just other specs that outclass Havoc in all categories. If you are a Havoc player though, I’d say it’s not bad enough to have to re roll either.

@@danielrtipton Thanks! Yes I am holding eye beam and meta for the ad phases, you can see roughlyyyy when my metas should be on the note on the side of my screen. For this fight its eye beam on pull, use all my cooldowns on the 1st egg break of each phase, and make sure you have an eye beam for every single egg break throughout the fight.

@ very nice. So knowing add phase timing on bosses is pretty key it seems. Are you using a sim or anything to tell you what cooldowns to use at what time for a specific boss?

@@danielrtipton Yes it is, no I'm just looking at the top logs and seeing when the majority of demon hunters use there meta and there mini burst. lorrgs.io/ is such a good tool for figuring out when to use what without having to deep dive through logs. It shows the top logs by the players of your class that have already done the fight and shows a timeline of where they used there cooldowns.

We're pretty weak in extended single target compared to some other DPS specs, we make up for it with good burst and large AOE. The AOE and Single Target priority is pretty much exactly the same, but the single target opener is different so you may be opening wrong.

@@toxxqq I'm also falling behind in boss fights quite a bit, can I ask what your single target rotation is? I assume it's the same as your opener for the final boss, but i just wanted to check. Also where do you slot in the hunt?

@@NathanD2 the opener has a lot more to it then it has previously before so it’s kinda hard to explain here in the comments. I would recommend looking up the wowhead guide and looking at the single target rotation. I do the single target rotation even on AOE pulls because I like to keep my eye beam and essence break cooldown synced up together so I don’t have to wait to do my mini burst, also a lot of times a pack has a priority target that should preferably die first. The only difference in my rotation from the wowhead ST guide is I will use all my immo charges and dashes until I’m out before I meta, if you get extra immo procs just send them over and over until your out and then meta so you can stack extra ragefires. The reason why the single target guide doesn’t say this is because it’s assuming you’re using single talent and that you don’t have the extra immo aura charges. I would slot your hunt in preferably outside of Demon form for the 8% increased agility, and with the first strike and inertia buff active.

Honestly, great question. I really don’t have an answer for you as that talent is basically useless cause we never press spectral sights lol. It’s what people are running in the M+ build, if I had to guess it’s to get to another talent but I’m not sure which one.

Found out its because its the only talent that lets you go down to the extra 5% HP and increased Sigil of Flame damage.

@@toxxqq well it's a weird interaction here, I only suspect that something is bugging with the interelaction because we are fighting on a platform. In the days when that dungeon came out I remember that in some certain spots you couldn't even meta. Or your minions didn't attack (UH DK). Also there is a bug with platform in Grim Batol when you fight the dragon boss if you use felblade in a certain spot on the boss you fall under the map and die lol. I have footage of that as well.

@@SxEllenDx Ahh, ya that’s really odd, I don’t remember stuff like that happening in Shadowlands but I didn’t do to many back then. I think I know what you’re talking about for GB, like where the crack is at on the ground and the elevation is different right lol.

I’m not sure I haven’t done a key in 11.0.5 yet, this run is about 4 days old so the focus hatred change wasn’t in yet.

Ya, eye beam adds a few extra seconds to the Meta which is nice. That would be good to do before the key if the buff lasted long enough, but only CDs 2 minutes + reset once the key starts, so your empowered abilities wouldn't reset unfortunately.

Thank you! I saw the nameplate turn red which usuallyyyyy means I have some aggro, so I meld to drop off the aggro. In this case though, the earth ele was dropped causing the nameplates to turn red for a sec so I was safe without the meld.

I've simmed it and it was more DPS to go full ruby, I would sim yourself though and see what it says for you.

@@josephdinolfo2429 Thank you. Have used GT a lot in the past and this season, not a big fan of it in TWW. Havoc has so much in the rotation now that it just feels clunky to use. Would recommend Inner Demon, more single target, more burst, and don’t have to worry about using it if you’re playing correctly.

@@flyingraijin5867 Ya, useful for stopping casters, if you’re night elf you can meld skip packs, in this video I would have used it to stop the spider pack on the 1st boss but we killed it quick enough so I didn’t need to use it.

So another way to look at it why people don't like movement build. Blizzard built talents off of a classes movement ability. They made a build for how fast a class moves. That's like blizzard making a build for death knights based on how slow they are. Sounds stupid because it is stupid. It's like making builds with paladins freedom or monks roll. It's stupid and a lot of people don't like it

@@achilles4856 Ya I see your point, I personally think it’s fine. Plenty of other classes and specs in the game so I think there being one class in the game that focuses on having to use your movement abilities to do damage is fine and unique.
