Hey I notice you aren't doing the Eye Beam -> Essence Break -> Death Sweep -> Meta -> Death Sweep opener but are using essence break after the Meta eye beam, any particular reason for this? Afaik on both wowhead and icyveins that is the recommended opener for AoE so just a little confused. Thanks for the videos especially with the action tracker, great for learning :)

I am not him but I also Essence Break with the Meta Eye Beam. My reason is because that way the Eye Beam cooldown and the Essence Break cooldown stay lined up, since both are 40 seconds Resetting Eye Beam with Meta after using Essence Break desyncs them

Can go either way, I’m just doing the single target rotation in my burst rather then the AOE one cause a lot of times there’s a prio target that should die as soon as possible, and also just muscle memory now, practiced the single target opener so much to get ready for raid that just feels better now, eye beam and essence break staying syncd is also a plus.

@@balloonredd Correct, and then Annihilate right after. Blade dance first though to put it on cooldown. And only use Essence Break after Eye Beam.

Thanks, ya it feels better than Glaive Tempest in my opinion. Inner Demon does more instant burst, more single target damage, and feels better to use over Glaive Tempest.

I play Inner Demon in every key now. More single target damage/feels better to use.

@@toxxqq I agree, also glaive tempest gets none of the buffs your base abilities get, while it might sim higher in aoe It feels clunky and mobs can move out of it. DH ST is still weak it seems. You always catch up on packs or multi target boss fights.

Honestly, great question. I really don’t have an answer for you as that talent is basically useless cause we never press spectral sights lol. It’s what people are running in the M+ build, if I had to guess it’s to get to another talent but I’m not sure which one.

Found out its because its the only talent that lets you go down to the extra 5% HP and increased Sigil of Flame damage.

Quick question, would you use transmitter if you had one? Debating using it over skardyns, both are hero pieces.

Me personally, I don’t want to play with the transmitter, I’ve passed on the transmitter in raid multiple times cause I’m not a fan of gimmicky trinkets like that, I probably should have taken one though as I still don’t have a skardyns. But basically, If you don’t mind doing the task and doing it fast, play Transmitter, if you do mind just play skardyns.

@@ramongonzalez8231 I think it’s not really meant for M+, it’s more single target based where as Fel Scarred is more AOE, but still feels good in single target. It recently got buffed but I heard it’s only better if you can sit there and straight target dummy a boss for a few minutes and play perfectly. I could be wrong but I believe they’re probably just testing it.

@@toxxqq yeah, i just started using DH this season. But I tried to stay closer to mobs and now my imo is 3rd top damage in my overall but still no where near your damage. also the rage fire I try to always get near mobs before it goes off but still eye beam or demonsurge is my top damage.

If you have meta you can insta meta after you retreat to cancel it. When I don't have meta I position my back towards the back and retreat through them so I can still get a hit or 2 off mid animation.

and look how much you had to jump and play around your cooldowns just to be taken over by standing still, hitting 2 keys DK. Good job, you did well but this class really needs buffs or some serious changes. With that many shit to track and play around DH should easly be top 1 dps at all times, on the other hand we have ret pala who presses 1 or two aoe buttons WITH NO COOLDOWN and tops all dps. soooo annoying

@@manamana231 I’d agree, DH for the effort put in isn’t as rewarding as it should be. As a person that has gotten used to how the class plays now it doesn’t feel like too much, but then again, I don’t play other classes lol.

To be fair, the class fantasy of a demon hunter is being a hyper mobile and fast class. The actual tuning needs work but the gameplay of the spec is fun imo. If you really don’t want to move around that much, there are no mover builds out there. Voodoo recently made a video about them. Havocs highest simming single target build is actually a no mover build with Aldrichi Reaver.

I heard the build you are talking about is best if you play it perfectly with 100% uptime, if not I think the standard build is still better.

@@Drewbertttt Ya, it’s definitely not good enough for people to take the time to learn the spec, its probably the hardest iteration of demon hunter ever and there are just other specs that outclass Havoc in all categories. If you are a Havoc player though, I’d say it’s not bad enough to have to re roll either.
