The Reign of Sands patch may have changed something, or you may have taken a hit during the fight. I retried it a few times to be absolutely sure nothing hit me.

Do Ubisoft developers realize their "puzzles" are unintuitive and even if you are skilled at navigation, you still depend on luck 50% of the time (especially when moving lasers are involved), it's just pure BS.

Nope, that's why I set the difficulty to story for a longer timer and did it stress free. I had enough of vaults on hard mode, they really aren't worth the hassle.
